    The owner, Charles (Carson) W******, kept good communication with me, primarily via text, throughout the project, but did not inspect any of his on-site workers (2) in a manner that could have prevented the problems that showed up the day or two after they completed the job.
    Problems: sagging gates, insufficient hinges to support large gates (size larger than first discussed), unworkable latches and as week or two went on, several posts observed as loosely positioned and causing unstable fence panels. Many panels not securely/appropriately fastened to posts. Billed/paid for more posts/panels used.
    On (3/25/24), I texted Carson re problems with gates and he responded same morning, sending one of workers back to "correct". Carson returned on 3/27/24 to get final check and discuss walkway/repairs (later in April, I noticed few panels began bowing outward and posts loose & panels unsecured to some. Carson admitted workers didn't have experience with gates. Texted him 4/9/24 that still having problems with gates sagging and difficult to latch. He came to measure for walkway & look at gates on 4/12/24. Wk of 4/15 thru 4/19, several texting re walkway & quotes. Last texted him 4/19 that needed to cut back on walkway plans because quotes too high & if could rework quote for smaller project. Last time heard from him. Emailed him 4/29/24 re need him/workers to fix the gates & post(s) and to arrange time/day. 2 other fencing contractors came to assess (another coming 5/7. Both say fencing/gates poorly installed and several posts need dug out/replaced & gates reworked & new hinges/latches to support them.
    Seeking reimbursement to cover repair costs for issues they caused and failed to repair.
