Equipment renters should beware of Leslie Equipment Company's billing practices based on our exprience with this company Here are the problems we encountered
      (1) The equipment provided broke down for several days, and Leslie was reluctant to credit an extension to the rental period, but ultimately yielded only after we produced our own records of the period of breakdown - KEEP YOUR OWN OPERATING RECORDS
      (2) Despite purchasing insurance through Leslie on the equipment, Leslie billed us nearly $20,000 for replacement parts/labor for "damages" Suspect of the charges (if there were damages, why wouldn't they be covered under the insurance) we asked for all parts replaced to be held for us to pick-up Upon inspection we found we were being charged for parts that were not damaged at all (eg bolt kits), or were scuffed up and required some cleaning (eg windshield, mirrors) - CAREFULLY INVENTORY/DOCUMENT THE CONDITION OF THE EQUIPMENT WHEN YOU ACCEPT AND RETURN IT TO LESLIE

Leslie Equipment Co. has spoken with *********** ******* ******* several times and ******** ***** to try to resolve his concerns. Damages to the machine were returned with not covered under damage waiver policy. Leslie Equipment did offer resolution by issuing credit for downtime while machine was on rent and portion of repair cost as per agreement that was made with customer.
