    We decided to stay at The Resort at Glade Springs for a getaway while rafting on the Gauley River. We expected a beautiful room. We couldn't stay, the smell was horrible, there were gnats and other bugs swarming around, and both the television and refrigerator didn't work. We had booked a 4 night stay (over $900.00 for the 4 nights). When we checked in there was one person complaining about their room which should have been a big hint as to what to expect. We went back to the front office where another person was complaining about their issues. We explained that the room wasn't fit to stay in and asked for a refund or at least a refund for 3 of the 4 nights. She didn't have the authority to make the refund so she phoned the manager, Michael C******, who I ended up speaking with as well. He said the owners don't care if guests are satisfied and that there was nothing he could do to help the situation. So we left an hour after checking in and wasted $960.68 as well as our time. Super disappointing to say the least.
