On February 15, they sold my mother a pair of hearing aids. She didn't have good enough credit so they called me at work and asked me to co-sign. They were $2,000. I said I hated doing that without knowing the details and hated giving me social over the phone, but I said ok. When I received the statement to pay, it is only in my name. My mothers name is nowhere. When I called and asked them about this, they said they called me and told me this. I don't remember getting a phone call saying it would only be in my name and the fact that I wasn't just a co-signer, it would have been nice to know all of the details of the loan. When my mother received the hearing aids, she said she didn't like them. They are too advanced for her and she didn't understand them. Her salesman, Matt, said she would have to get use to them. She went home and tried them out but they would stop working and fade in and out. She ended up putting her old ones back on since they work. I called and told them this and that she wouldn't be wearing them and they said she would just have to get use to them and now they keep bringing up that I said she wasn't wearing them. Then I asked to return them. Now they say it's passed the 30 days and can't. I pointed out she complained and I've called multiple times before then. I asked if we could simply return these and when I go on summer break, I can go in with her and help her. I can use sign language to explain more to her and help them communicate her needs. Matt said I need to miss a day of work and drive my mom there so he can show her again how to use them. He's refusing to return them. I cannot miss work. I'm out of sick days. I can get off work and make it to him in time to give him the hearing aids to return, but I don't have time to go pick my mom up and then make it to him. Every phone call has been a nightmare.
