    I drove to Elkview, Anytime Fitness(ATF) on Jan 16, 23 at 540pm during business hrs to obtain a new key & to transfer my current membership to their location. No one is in the office. I contact the gym via ************ ********* asking about current business hours. See documents. I went back to the gym on Jan 17 and spoke with manager Ashleigh ******* She didn't greet me with a smile or ask any questions you would expect from meeting a new client for the first time. She was very short and non-informative during our encounter. She reminded me that my home gym was in Kanawha City(KC) and I'd have to close that account and open one with her. I agreed & made a mental note to call and cancel my account with KC. The next day Jan 18 I called and spoke with the manager at KC ATF to cancel my membership. He told me that Ashleigh should have known to just move my membership to her gym & not open a new one. He mentioned they had had issues with the Elkview gym in the past. I drove to Elkview ATF and went into Ashleigh's office to let her know I needed to cancel my membership there bc I could just transfer my current one. She was very rude and I asked her if she had an issue with me. She started to say that I have been rude with their gym on ** ********* and that she could have my membership blocked. I told her that I had never spoken to her before yesterday and had no idea what her problem with me could be. She began shaking, stating I was "pissing her off". I told her I didn't want any issues and there should be none going forward. I even offered an unwarranted apology (see document) bc I was scared she would block my membership. I went to the gym Feb 1 & my key has been deactivated. No contact from owners. My contract is still active and am paying. I did nothing to deserve to be banned. I would like to be able to attend my local gym & have my access restored. I have reached out to owners with no responses. See documents. I would love for the cameras to be reviewed for proof.
