      I went to the store to shop for vinyl railing. The sales person said she would have to call for a price and would call me. After 1 1/2 weeks with no call , I called the store. The person I talked to said my sales person was out to lunch. In a non combative voice I told him I was new to the area and was told not to deal with Busy Beaver, but that I wanted to deal with a local store. The General mgr called me back and said they didn’t want to deal with me because of the way I treated his employee. I told him I wasn’t mean to his employee and he told me he believed his employee over me and hung up on me.

      Busy Beaver Building Centers,
      Inc. acknowledges receipt of the above-referenced complaint. As a Director of
      Human Resources & Administration that is deeply committed to total customer
      satisfaction, I am made aware of any customer complaints our company receives
      which are fortunately very few.

      We value John’s feedback
      regarding his shopping experience at our Fairmont West Virginia location and sincerely
      apologize we fell short of meeting his expectations.  Actions have been
      taken with the team to re-establish customer service expectations, including
      additional training and coaching. In an effort to demonstrate our commitment to
      providing a high level of customer service, I would like to issue John a gift
      card in the amount of $50.00.

      I hope John finds this to be an
      acceptable resolution and once accepted as full resolution, we will have the
      gift card processed and sent to John’s home.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      I appreciate the offer but but being told by your local Store Manager that they didn’t want my business, I don’t want theirs. I would be very uncomfortable dealing with the staff of the Fairmont store. Thanks again for your response.

      complaint. As a Director of Human Resources & Administration that is deeply
      committed to total customer satisfaction, I am saddened to hear that our effort
      and call to action aren’t satisfactory for Mr. ********  

      We value John’s feedback regarding his
      shopping experience at our Fairmont West Virginia location and are surprised to
      hear our resolution was not acceptable to the customer given the manager ended
      the interaction with the customer due to the customer's highly aggressive
      manner. Our first response was intended to defuse the situation by letting the
      customer know we acknowledged the complaint and reviewed it with the manager.
      Our highest priority is the safety and well-being of our associates, so for a
      customer to maliciously and undeservingly attempt to slander our very-good
      reputation is not something we will continue to engage in.

      We consider this matter closed and appreciate the
      involvement of the BBB.
