      I hired Ron H****** to repair a carport made of wood with a metal roof. I paid for some materials on my ***** card for the job, which would be subtracted from the total price agreed upon. He showed up with few tools and used my tools to do the job. He complained that my hammer drill is "broken" although it was nearly new and working fine when I lent it to him. The wood he replaced was ok, but lacked many connecting screws, which I added the day after he completed the job. The new metal roof that he put on has several holes where he "missed" when attaching the screws. My custom built stone sidewalk and hand cut foundation stones below the carport are now covered in a mist of white paint where he used a paint sprayer without a tarp. He used inferior angle brackets to fasten a wood post to concrete. I paid him for all but $83 as I want him to caulk the holes in the new roof and try to remove the mist of white paint from his sprayer from my custom stone landscaping. He has sent texts threatening to tear off the metal roof and/or take property from my home that is worth what I owe him ($83) rather than repair the mistakes he made while doing the job. I feel threatened by the numerous (maybe 50?) texts he sent today demanding his money, and have had the police visit and also put the neighbors on alert that I feel threatened by this man.
