This college will do what they can to help pass you. The HELP program is good at this university. There are some good professors at marshall university. I would disagree with the first reviewer. Marshall university has some good professors.

I applied to the school of business doctoral program last year. It was one of the worst application processes I have ever experienced. I am a Hispanic woman , married to a woman, and a protected veteran. I truly believe this institution had no intention of allowing me in, but still drug me through the interview process to avoid discrimination claims. I have spent several years working in the field and have a masters in business from a R1 school, with a 3.91 GPA. I felt the professors, including the dean , made fun of me in the interview process. The last lady I talked to , with a very nice gentleman, kept talking about statistics and insisted that it was critical to know for a doctoral program. I explained to her that I taught myself calculus in my masters program. I never did let them know I still have funding for my education, from my GI Bill, but the last lady I spoke with sure made it seem like I wasn’t going to be able to afford the program. I also asked about veterans on campus and no one could give me a direct answer on who is there for them. My overall interpretation , they do not allow the same opportunities for all applicants who apply. They prejudge individuals based on bias opinions. No hard feelings, but law school is on my mind next. I will never forget this terrible experience. You will reap what you sow.
