      worst customer service and emergency service is non existant. My husband is a recent amputee with his right leg. He is not strong enough to move on one foot and hop as some can. He has been provided with a wheelchair by Active Medical and has had it for a total of 33 days. The tire came off the rim and I could reach no one except a machine. I was contacted on Monday by them so they could offer me to come to the house to look for 60.00 dollars, or we could bring it to their office for no charge. However they don't have a technician in the office unless you schedule it. Also they don't always have parts so if needed they can rent you a spare. More MONEY. The hours are 9-5 and most people work those hours, like me. My husband has no right leg and cannot take it himself. They are not open on weekends even for emergencies. On top of all this their voice mail said if you have an oxygen issue please leave a message and someone would call us back with a few minutes. They told me on the phone Monday they don't even do oxygen any longer. I am ashamed anyone can say they are top in the field of helping people with this attitude. After several hours of trying to get the tire back on the chair my cousin was able to get it on, but now I am unsure if it will stay, I am not the person trained on wheelchair assembly. So if I take him and move his down the sidewalk toward the house I could loose the tire again and possibly dump him if that happens. I call an ambulance to move or help him, but at whose expense. Why are we paying for all this medical coverage at such a high cost, well this is part of the reason. I have been told he shouldn't want to go to garage, well he's not dead he's just missing a limb. Worst service ever, but I can rent another chair to take him to the hospital for his followup appointment, from them!!! Not happening.
