    A replacement heating stove was installed on Jan 31st, 2024. On Monday Feb 12th, 2024, we had a rain storm and I found a huge leak in my house from the new chimney that they installed. The roof is ruined from where they installed it incorrectly and the stove is ruined as well from water damage and the company is refusing to do any repairs on the stove besides clean it and spray paint the stove. Which I explained was unacceptable. A more detailed explanation has been uploaded as a word document along with the receipt of the install of the stove, a quote of the roof repair and photos of the damages. When the stove was installed, they made modifications to the stove without my knowledge and they broke the on/off switch in the back and I was advised to just "touch the two wires together".

    We have attempted to fix the stove which was already in poor condition. Prior to installing the stove, we spent a couple hours cleaning it up for her. The switch was broken, and we replaced it with one that we had on our truck. We did offer to pay for the roof repair due to the leaks also we offered to once again clean her stove even though as you can see from pictures was already rusted and that was even after as I said we spent a couple hours cleaning it for her.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The company did not call nor did they show up for the appointment to clean the stove which I had to miss work for and have been sending me threatening emails to remove my BBB review. The State ************************ has been contacted and official paperwork has been submitted.

    The only rust that was on the outside of the stove was the small round kettle ring that is shown in the picture. The company cut out pieces of the stove from within and notified me after they did such. The switch on the back you can see that they just zip tied it to the stove and left the wires hanging. This stove was pre-owned but it was not in this condition when they installed it with the rust and water damage on it. Attached is also one of the emails that I have received threatening to come after me for slander for a review.
