A purchase was made from this vendor for a piece of equipment at a cost of $1,499. He promised to have his crew “custom” make pieces to adapt the new equipment to our lawn tractor. It was dropped off in our paved driveway, and never left the pavement. As soon as I turned the wheel slightly to leave the pavement, the “custom” hose immediately flew off, the “custom” adapting piece let loose. The tractor had moved no further than 3-4 feet forward on the pavement. Although I struggled to reattach everything, it would not hold together. My husband and I immediately placed the “custom-made” pieces to the side, and unhooked the new equipment against our garage door. When he contacted the person at WV Power Equipment, he was told that we could purchase an additional piece of hose for $125. My husband is 77 yrs old, totally disabled, and unable to do this type of labor. The equipment has never been used, so my husband told them to come back to get it, that we cannot use it. We realize that the “custom” pieces and any extras, servicing to the mower, or such would be our responsibility. However, as soon as we realized that the equipment was just not going to work for us, we placed it inside our garage to keep it clean and safe. The vendor stated that the equipment is “used” and that he would not take it back. The equipment is NOT used, is in the same condition as when it was delivered to us, and the vendor has refused to even work with us on this. On the bottom of the receipt, in small print, is a notice of no returns. That receipt was not provided until the equipment was paid for, and we had no advance notice of that prior to payment. In fact, the salesperson told us that if we didn’t take it, they would sell it to someone else.
My objection is they did NOT tell us in advance that it was un-returnable prior to the purchase, and refused to make this transaction transparent before taking our money, and is against Consumer Protection laws.

Customer purchased a new DR leaf and lawn pull behind vacuum. We did the installation of the accessory on the customers zero turn and delivered it back. The main hose that goes from the vacuum to the mower deck popped off the unit during use. This can happen on a zero turn mower because they make such sharp turns and the standard hose length that comes with the vacuum is not long enough to make a full zero turn maneuver. Even after cursing at our sales lady and manager, we offered to provide a brand new hose extension kit @ no charge. He was unsatisfied that we would not come directly to his home to install. Due to his aggressive nature on the phone we would not send our driver for safety reasons. Install is very easy, just two clamps will have the machine back up and running. The customer then decided to dispute the credit card charge even though we were offering a free added accessory that would have solved the problem. The customer stated that the unit "just isn't going to work for us" but refuses to accept the free solution we have offered to him at no charge. He cursed at our employees and was very disrespectful during the entire process. We made every effort to make the unit useable.
