    Wife and I built a Tahoe, have paperwork with our name and order number on it. The sales manager new me from buying a truck 9 months ago. When I offered the $2000 holding check, he said "you don't need it, I know you and we're good, your name in on the order". When it came time to work out trade in value, I said first offer was insulting, you said we would get what we paid at min, and he admitted the offer was too low. When he asked me what I would like for it, I said, "you take a stab first". Never heard anything back and 2 weeks later when we called to see what was going on, we were told they sold the car to someone else. The car we built and have our name and order number on it. Now they are saying we didn't put the $2000 down so it wasn't reserved for us... and my text "you take a stab first" meant that we weren't interested. Unbelievable. I will never own another Chevy again.

    The vehicle in question was a retail stock order meaning it was not ordered by a customer but for regular inventory. It was incoming and it met their criteria so we offered to put there name on it to give them first dibs. They said they were concerned about what they would get in trade for their vehicle and we answered "we will figure it out when it gets here, we will try to help." When the vehicle came in the customer was rude and disrespectful to multiple employees in person and through text ("thats f****** insulting" in a text) over their trade offer. We decided to not engage further and sold the car.
