    when my mother passed away in 1996 she owned the mineral rights to property in Guernsey county. This was not known to her attorney or the executor. In 2021 a gas well was drilled by ***** ********* of Marietta Ohio and began producing royalties in 2022. Since the owner of record was deceased ***** escrowed the proceeds. Somehow ***** Resources tracked me down and informed me. My brother ***** and I are the only surviving heirs and we engaged an attorney ***** *** ***** of Cincinnati , Ohio to establish our right and generate the appropriate legal paperwork. . The attorney advised us in Sept 2023 that ""all documentation has been submitted to ***** Resources and the accrued monies to date were $28,112.36 for each of us." All well and good. However, on Oct 3 2o23 *** of Morgantown acquired the assets from *****. In January 2024, we started receiving the current month proceeds from *** , however the escrowed amount from 2022 and 20223 is MIA. I called the customer support line twice . On 1/26/2024 Shelly informed me "sees $20K+ , not in their accounting system no timetable for resolution" on August 2024 Crystal said "your name is on the list . ***** gave us a lump sum and we have to allocate it. we must allocate that -estimate another couple of months". I sent a certified letter to the office of the *** in November but the **** tracking showed that it was last seen in Pittsburgh on 3 Dec. Not ***** fault;. In January 2025 I fed exed a letter to the CFO (***** S******* asking that he try to accelerate the resolution . According to *** ** this was delivered on 1/13/2025 but there has been no response.
