      This company has decided to dig its claws into the non-emergency medical transportation service and since they are cheap (noticed i said cheap and not "safe") they have been successful. However, because of this, ofcourse ***************** is going to use them at any opportunity possible.
      So, as a direct result, there are many people missing appointments and eventually being dismissed from their physicians offices because of no show policies.
      It has become near impossible for regular people to get rides now. I have recorded several instances of this happening but the one I wish to highlight is when I was awaiting my medical transportation home one evening. The appointment I had was the last one of the day at the hospital. When it was finished, I went out to the waiting area (it was cold) to watch for my ride. I got notified that my ride was on the way but only after waiting nearly an hour. Then I watched the driver on the tracker. I watched and waited. It said he was on the way but showed him sitting at a ****** two miles away. I call ********* who assured me he would be on his way soon. I eventually watch him leave ****** after almost 45 minutes and then watched at he drove to some apartment buildings. This is where the car stayed. I waited one hour and then two, all the while motaxi was telling me a driver was on the way and then eventually stopped answering. Soon visiting hours at the hospital ended and security prepared to close up the main entrance of the hospital. Imagine sitting in a room, in the dark, waiting for a ride that isn't coming. I was eventually given the ole' you don't gotta go home but you can't stay here spiel and was forced to leave. Mind you, I use a walker full time and the temperature had dropped to 30°. Evenually an officer saw me and took me to the E.R. to be checked for hyperthermia.
      Then helped me home. Motaxi had called me six times requesting to cancel my ride and then decided to just do it for me. My insurance paid for this btw.
