    I have tried to contact the city of mullens multiple times. I have contacted by calling them with no answer, left a message on the answering machine multiple times, the answering machine now says that it’s full and no more messages can be left. I went to the address listed, and each time I’ve been met by a locked door during business hours with a sign on the door, waited on the benches right outside the front door for a hour and 30 minutes, with at least 15 other customers coming by and leaving, telling me this is normal for them not to get an answer or them to put a sign on the door and not come back. This is not the first instance this has happened as I’m trying to pay a ticket with a court date on the ticket, and there be a sign saying closed for cleaning. I will add photos with dates times and location to show I was there.

    On May 1, 2023 *** ******* did appear to the ******* ********* ***** for her court date and the building was closed for fumigation. It is *** ******** responsibility to make contact with the court. *** ******* never made contact with the court during the hours of court operations. Which is Monday nights 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. *** ******* license was suspended on 2/12/2024 due to not appearing in court. *** ******* did contact Mullens City Hall and spoke with the City Manager on approximately 3/10/2024. The City Manager contacted the Municipal Judge and called *** ******* back with the cost of her fine. *** ******* stated she would call back and pay the fine but never received a call back from her. *** ******* did come into court on 3/18/2024 and plead guilty to the charge. A verification of satisfaction was sent to the *** to reinstate her license with a request to waive all fees due to a communication error. 

City of Mullens is NOT a BBB Accredited Business.
