I regards to ****** ******** Kia Soul motor issue:

When the Soul was brought to us it had 108105 miles on the odometer. She purchased it from us as a pre-owned vehicle. Kia's powertrain warranty on a pre-owned Soul ended at 60000 miles. If the vehicle was purchased new the powertrain warranty would have expired at 100000 miles. Either way it was out of warranty. The vehicle had open recalls that might have prevented the failure. The vehicle was serviced by the customer and has zero service history at Warner Kia until the tow in. We advised the customer to contact Kia Consumer Affairs to see if any assistance is available to them since they state they did not receive recalls. We are sorry for their motor failure but we are only able to  follow Kia's warranty coverages.
