    This Ambulance service picked me up. From my residents and transported me to ***** ******* ********** I have been on ******** since 2014 and I am considered disabled by the ****** ******** **************. this business turned over to a collection agency in the amount of $300 that should have been billed to ******** the business owner here was indicted by a federal grand jury last month in Charleston West Virginia for obstructing the IRS and not turning over the employees with holdings. this has put a negative mark on my credit I gave them all the ******** information but do not understand why they did not bill them or they could be double dipping please help me look into this matter to resolve this issue

    attached is trip sheet from date of service and previous claims of transport that where submitted to insurance.  As this date notifies in trip sheet patient refused transpott against advice of crew. This is considered a response fee initiated by the ******** county 911. Also attached a explanation of non-covered charges by ******** which case ******** follows same standards. This is considered a non-covered charge by ******** which makes it patient responsibility. There is a fee associated due to we responded in good faith in a emergency situation and exposing self to risk of responding and associted man hours and fuel cost . Mr ***** says we transported to logan when we did not and this is documented in the trip sheet by the responding crew.

    Event occurred in September 2017. STAT sent an ambulance because I was in a vehicle accident and I did not request any ambulance or EMS service. I was not transported anywhere by ambulance and I did not receive any care or services from them and yet they are charging me $300. I did not pay and I wrote a letter to them explaining that I am not paying because I did not request services and was not transported anywhere by ambulance. I did not know they didn’t drop the $300 so now it is on my credit report and affecting my credit score and I want the report taken off and I want the payment took away because I do not owe them anything.

    Yes STAT EMS was dispatched via Wyoming county 911 to a single car wreck. Upon arrival crew found car and patient. Car had received severe damage according to the crew report. The crew did advise said individual of mechanism of injury should go to the ER. Said individual did refuse and signiture is on file. We was initiated by the WYOMING COUNTY 911 due to wreck we responded as required and billed for a response fee and refusal of service. He may not have directly called but we were dispatched due to incident via the Wyoming county 911 center. As this we have responsibility and liability in place as we was initiated by a emergency response system.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.



    To whom it may concern, 

       I am rejecting this response. I should not be held liable for services that were not requested and utilized. I told the volunteer firefighters and police on scene that I did not need medical attention. An ambulance was dispatched anyway when I didn’t request an ambulance or medical services. The firemen looked me over and checked me out and told me I was fine. I was not transported anywhere and I did not request their services whatsoever. I will not be paying this bill for I shouldn’t have to. I’m not liable or responsible. I just want this off of my credit report and the charge dismissed. I’m not asking for much. Thank you.
