    Someone is stealing money I have been told I owe 1000 some dollars and I have paid 100$ every month that I have been there I do not owe what they are saying I owe! I believe there is someone stealing money from people out of the business I have been through this situation multiple times with them! They are a Suboxone clinic and recovery clinic and I believe they are stealing peoples money there is no way I owe what they are saying I owe if you don’t pay your month you don’t get your medicine so there’s no way my bill would be over 100$ I’ve been there for a year and 4 months there’s no way I owe what they are saying I owe! Their business needs to be checked into immediately!

    Good afternoon,

    This is in correspondence to the complaint made against our office on 09/03/2024. Mr. *****, established care at our facility on June 23rd, 2023. Upon starting treatment, he presented us with his insurance card, which was used for billing his visits. After trying to bill his insurance, our biller contacted us to inform us that we could not accept his insurance card due to it being Virginia Medicaid. At this time, we notified Mr. ***** of this issue and he agreed to continue as a "self-pay" patient. Our office decided to work with the patient, and agreed to $150 per month. Mr. ***** did not make his first payment until October 27th, 2023 for the amount of $40, which brought his $600 past due balance, down to $560. Mr. ***** continued to make a payment every month after, but never paid enough to cover his past due balances. Our office has always ensured that the patient got his medication, regardless of the large amount of money that was owed to our clinic. Our office has been more than lenient with Mr. *****, in hopes that he would take care of his past due balances. Our office staff has dealt with multiple outbursts from Mr. ***** when he is asked to make a payment, even after we went above and beyond to refer him to our local GIAP program, which helps him pay past balances, future visits, and medication costs. On multiple occasions, Mr. ***** showed up at the office after closing and vigorously beat on the door and windows until he was let inside. Our office strives to give our patients the best possible care, and we understand our patient's financial hardships and try to work with our patients to the best of our ability. Unfortunately, healthcare is not free; if Mr. ***** were going to any other medical office, he would be made to pay his full balance before he could be seen.
