                                                                                           1.) Representative came to our door and explained 'he was just at our neighbors and wanted to know if we would be interested in some meats?'. We explained that we only buy fresh cuts of meat. He told us that their meat is packed fresh and frozen as soon as butchered and with NO preservatives. We checked the boxes after he left and found multiple ingredients in all the packages. This is processed meat. Hamburger patties have multiple ingredients. This beef is not packed fresh without additives as salesman claimed.

    2.) Representative was adamant that the company stood behind and guaranteed their product 100%. He assured us that if we were dissatisfied with the product to call him and he would give us a full refund and pick up the meat. As an 'appreciation gift' for making a purchase he gave us a **** **** 10lb. ham. The expiration date on it was January 1, 2024. Eight and a half months EXPIRED.

    3.) Salesman misrepresented weight and price of our meat purchase. We were told total weight was about 75lbs. According to the boxes it is actually 64.29lbs. We paid $649. This makes the cost per pound at $10.10, including hamburger patties that weighed 11.25lbs.

    4.) We tried the meat that evening and it had an unusual and unpleasant taste. We called the salesman immediately that evening and left him a message to get back with us. When we did speak to him we explained we wanted a refund. He told us we 'must have cooked the meat improperly'. He informed us at that point that the company does not do refunds.

    They didn't call the salesman They call me three days after they tried it & I asked if they had all the product they said no they sent a bunch home with the kids & grand kids & she bought it over a month ago I asked why she didn't call the salesman she said she was inbarrest!!! The ham was given to them from another customer & he told them that but he's an independent contractor the sad part about it he sold it at cost!!!    I told her to call him and she never did but he called her and she said she didn't have all the products so how do you give the money back or exchange it with out all the products

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.


    Not withstanding our initial complaint where the salesman misrepresented the meat as packed fresh with no added ingredients and that the company stood behind products 100%, he stated meat was about 75 pounds and was only 64 pounds (according to their packages).  Nothing in their response is the truth!!! We called the salesman the same evening as the purchase.  We have phone records to prove it.  We have NEVER spoke to anyone other than the salesman himself.  We still have ALL the meat minus the two prime fillets that were cooked that evening after the salesman left. 
    I have receipt dated August 15, 2024 from the salesman with his name and phone number as well as the company name and web page.  This whole situation took place in less than 24 hours from purchase to refusal to refund.  No other conversations took place after that with anyone.  The last phone call between us and the salesman was August 16, 2024 at 5:01PM and he told my husband 'we don't do refunds, we will replace the meat only'.  As to this date, August 24, 2024, no one has called or showed up.  We have ****** doorbell and there's been no indication that anyone from the company has been to our home.  The ham was a free gift from the salesman but he NEVER said anything about it being from another customer.  We have no idea what he is talking about.

    On July 13, 2022 we purchased products from this business and a freezer to keep meat, fish, chicken , etc in the total cost was over$1600. They told us if anything went wrong call and they would work with us they guarantee for 2 yrs. Two weeks later I went to get something to fix and everything was thawed out because the freezer was plugged in but was loose is why. I called and was told they was sorry they were a christen family and would cover for our lose. I have been in touch with them and get told give them another two weeks, had a death in family, and no driver to deliver or holiday busy call back. This has been going on for 4 months. If they are not going to provide the products than I would like my money back and they can take the freezer because without meats I don’t need it. I already have a freezer just got that one because of the sale. I have got a run around with us business and at the time I was just getting home from vacation unloading my vehicle. They were talking to my spouse and I said no but they kept adding more to make the sale. They pressured me knowing I was busy until I gave in. I just want them to uphold their promise or give back my money. We are retired seniors on a fixed income. Thank you for your assistance.

    I'm the one she talked to she told me the freezer was bad so I said we will get her a new freezer then I was told that someone knocked the cord loose I said I can't replace something I'm not responsible for but I would try and get her some product from damaged boxes trying to be nice when I didn't have to do anything but was trying to be nice we ain't responsible for one of her family members unplugging her freezer she told me she couldn't keep the mouth of her stuff and I felt bad for her!!! I ain't having to pay for her family's mistakes we do have a guarantee but not for thawed out products!!! I'm very sorry this happened to her but we didn't do it

    Purchased on 9/26/2022 and asked for a refund because they charged a $15 Delivery Fee when it wasn’t a delivery they came knocking on my door. They then said it was tax, we only spent $99 and that doesn’t acquire that high of tax. When I messaged them that it was wrong to charge that much they offered a refund of the $15. Agreeing to the refund they then claim they do not know how to do one. I gave it until today 10/05/2022 before contacting you all. I now want all my money back!! I have screenshots of our conversation if needed.
