      I purchased Unscented cat litter from ******** Pet on 5/7/2025 for $34.68 through a subscription I have now canceled. Litter arrived on 5/13 and I swapped it into my cat’s litter box 5/25. My cat ended up having an allergic reaction that caused allergic conjunctivitis. Her eyes had bloody discharge and one eye was starting to swell. At first she just had goopy eyes which is not unusual for cat allergies but once I saw the blood I made a vet appointment for 6/9/25. I asked for a refund on 7/12 and all they refunded me was $8.65 which lines up with their refund policy but now I have a $190.50 vet bill to pay and a traumatized cat. I feel like making my cat sick is a good enough exception to their refund policy. They are also deleting all my comments on their instagram posts and won’t post my review warning people of a possible allergic reaction. I just want all my money back. This is irresponsible of them to not face the fact that their product can be potentially harmful. At least warn people that this could happen.

      Bought on the ******** *** ****** website a 40lbs of cat litter (pelletised). It comes in 2, 20lbs bags within the box.
      My cat dislikes the litter so I am unable to use it. I contact them asking what to do, I have to ask for a refund due to the inability to use the product. They gave me 12.24 back per their policy. I check the policy and it states quote, "We offer refunds equivalent to half the price you paid for 20lbs worth of any Catalyst Pelletized litter purchased directly from our website within 30 days after delivery."
      I then say "There are 2, 20lbs bags, shouldn't that make it 24.49?"
      The careteam responds with "It only affects 1 bag." As quoted above, the language used does not indicate any specific amount. I didn't buy multiples of 20lbs. The 40lbs option has no mention of it being "individual 20lbs bags." One is led to believe before the item arrives that they are getting one large 40lbs bag on its own.
      There is no return policy for 40lbs bag even tho it's marketed on their website as being only 40lbs but once it arrives its evident that its 2, 20lbs bags. Not only is it misleading on their website if one wishes to return an item, but they do not follow their own return policy.
      Due to their response to the situation I am lead to believe it is intentional, which is why I am making my complaint here.

      Summary: 40lbs bag marketed as such is actually 2 20lbs bags when opened. They cite their return policy for a 20lbs bag even tho a customer can buy 40lbs. Misleading website and/or does not follow their own return policy. If email exchanges are required please reach out.
