    We arrived August 30, 2024 and were supposed to stay until Sept. 1, 2024 but left on Aug. 31, 2024. We stayed at the Summit Cabin and it falling apart on the outside. The gutters were falling off the side of the cabin and there was a washer outside on the side of the cabin. The grass had not been cut in quite sometime. When we got inside the cabin there was a small AC unit that had not been turned on so it was extremely hot inside. It would have been nice if the cleaning crew actually turned it on before arriving. There were multiple things that did not function properly. 1. the hot water in the bathroom sink did not work. 2. the refrigerator was barely cold and I would not recommend putting anything in it that would spoil. 3. some of the outlets did not work and they were covered with blue tape. 4. there were bugs inside the cabin. 5. no chain to turn the ceiling fan on. 6 .the queen bed-we understand it may not be like the bed at home. But it is ridiculous to feel the springs in the bed when laying down. It is quite apparent that the mattress was VERY old.
    We never leave bad reviews, but there were just too many things wrong. We are also owners of a condo and rent it out weekly. We also understand the upkeep it takes to keep a nice place to stay but this cabin is falling apart! The pictures provided on the website and listed on Trip Advisor do not match what you actually see when you arrive. That is VERY disappointing.
    We asked for a refund for the 2nd night we did not stay. I also contacted Sam (I think that was his name) I guess he is the caretaker of the property. I told him why we were leaving and never got a response. I hope Jonathan (the owner) will be in touch with a refund.

    On multiple occasions, this business has failed in the cleanliness department. Once a used prophylactic was discovered under the bed, on another occasion, mouse droppings were found in the cupboard. The first issue was resolved with some satisfaction. The second resulted in a promise of a 20% reduction to the next rental. It was never given. Calls to the company resulted in stonewalling or were just ignored. By that time we were locked in to the rental, so we took it anyway, only to be met with a toilet that had malfunctioned and an on-site manager who had no valid phone number. Buyer beware!
