      I don’t think I can say enough good things about Traditional Painters. Darin and Oakley did an excellent job.
      First of all, I know next to nothing about painting – especially exterior painting – so I got some advice from a friend’s husband who has his own painting business, several states away. Anyway, when Darin talked with me about the job, he hit every point that my friend’s husband had mentioned, without me even having to ask a question.
      Darin quoted me a reasonable price and put me on their schedule. Their schedule was pretty full; another good sign. He let me know when it looked like they were about two weeks out, then confirmed the date a couple of days beforehand.
      Darin and Oakley got here when they said they would, and reviewed the job with me before they started. Another thing I liked is that it seemed like they got along well, no friction.
      Most days I went out to say hello and gaze around in awe at how they were transforming my house, and sometimes I would have a question like what does this gizmo do, or what color do you think would look best on the front door. They never ever made me feel like I was asking a stupid question or taking up their valuable time. Darin and Oakley were always cheerful and friendly, and kept me informed about the process.
      They power-washed and scraped the house, treated it for mold/mildew, and covered and taped off the windows and doors. They applied sealer and two coats of paint to the house, caulking and making repairs as necessary. They also sealed and painted the patio, painted the wrought iron railing and the light pole, painted the front door, did a major repair on the Judas door, and replaced the framing around the back door. They even painted the garage door, and all gutters and downspouts. My house looks brand new!
      They took care of a few items that I hadn’t thought of beforehand, and I felt that the additional charge was more than fair. They also did a great job of cleaning up.
      I highly recommend these guys.
