The date of the transaction was 09/13/2024. I went there for a conference through work. Which is paid for by my employer. They asked me for a card to keep on file incase there were damages or I charged something to the room. I thought it was shady since they did not ask everyone in our group and it was being paid for by my employer but I did it. When it's time to check out they charged my debit card for the room instead of my employers card. So right there I lost 425.00 from my account and another girl with me had no money left in her checking account and she had a long drive home. So after some arguing they say they will credit our cards back but it will take a few days. I go back to my conference and the bank sends me a notification saying I have a double charge. I check my statement and they BILLED me again instead of refunding my money!!!! I talked to a Leslee and she said she did it on accident but she canceled it. So I had to contact my bank and file a complaint because I have still not received my money back. I feel like they literally stole 850.00 out of my account. They didn't seem very apologetic about it at all and I have bills to pay. I will take legal action if I have to. Everyone should watch their cards when they go there. It caused me so much stress and I was not able to enjoy my last day of conference. Now I have to worry about my bills. I contacted my bank again and they said they have not received any refund. Everyone seemed so rude even tho they made the so called mistake that has cost me so much money.
