    We had this company move furniture (couch) into our house. They damaged a wall. Put a hole in it when they shoved the couch through the front door. We filed a claim with them, they denied it saying they arent at fault. They blamed that there was a chest in the way. Well if the chest was in the way the movers shouldve either a) moved it or b) asked me to move it. But no, they just rammed it in here.

    We were notified of this incident 2/7/25, a week after delivery had taken place.  From the pictures that were taken at the time of our delivery (attached) there was no way we could have caused this damage as there is no room to even turn a couch around in the area.  We took pictures at time of delivery and when the consignee signed our proof of delivery (also attached) they answered "no" to any damage to the residence caused by the delivery team.  This is why we are denying this claim.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I did sign that there was no damage, yes. I admit that. I was the one that was here for the delivery. But, that is because the damage is hidden behind a chest, a chest they didn't bother moving, or asked to be moved. The reason the movers took pictures of the front door/hallway is because THAT IS WHERE THEY BROUGHT THE ***** IN. If they brought the couch in through the garage or any other door they would've taken pictures of that. So the claim of it not fitting or that's not where they brought it in is false and doesn't make sense. Well actually, it didn't fit, they're right. That's why the wall is damaged. I am a member of the ************. I'm not some scammer or sleezball trying to get money out of a business I've never used before until now. I just want coverage for repair costs for the damage the movers caused. That is all.

    As stated previously, we deny any wrong doing to residence.  The size of the furniture delivered would not even fit in said damaged area to make this damage happen.  We did take pictures and have additional pictures showing the size of the items delivered compared to the size of the entry way.  We are empathetic to your situation but we are not responsible for this damage.

    Many things could have happened between the time we left residence and the notification 7 days later of said damage.

    In reponse to "why we didn't move it out of the way" **************** was hired by FragilePak to make this delivery, they do not pay us to move items out of the way this duty falls on the customer.
