      I purchased the seat covers in September 2022 and received them in November 2022. There is no way I could use them because they can't be installed without the removal of the rear seat which the company charges $160.00 to install them. The company mentioned that I needed to speak with the company (seat covers unlimited) that they ordered for the return. I did what Extreme truck mentioned and made the call. The company stated that it needed to be done through extreme truck.

      Come to find out the cost of the covers is a lot less and Extreme Truck also charged me extra for the shipping. I am looking for the seat covers to be taken back and a refund for the amount of $415.75

      The customer came in September 2022 and ordered rear seat covers for a 2022 Rav4. This customer has purchased seat covers from us before and was aware that as per our company policy they are special order non returnable. The seat covers had come in undamaged and the correct fitment for the vehicle. A few days after pick up in November 2022 , the customer came in stating that she was not able to use them due to having to remove the  bottom portion of the seat when they needed washed. The removal of the bottom of the seat is pulling up on the outer edge to release the clips and attach the seat cover.
      She then asked what we would charge to install them. We told her it would be $160.00. She then got upset because each time she needed them to be removed we would charge her for labor to uninstall and reinstall the covers. It was explained that labor is not free, and that the technicians have to be paid for their time.
       We contacted the manufacturer who at the time was not able to accept returns, also because they were not damaged or mis-ordered as per vehicle fitment. The customer was then informed of this decision the manufacturer had made and was then suggested to contact them herself and see if they would make an acceptation.
      The customer came back in after contacting them stating that they would accept her return with a restocking fee of 15%, but was upset that she was overcharged on the seat covers and on the freight. The manufacturer had given her our company cost of the covers and fedexed them, which we then have to upcharge in order for our company to make money on.
      In closing, as per our policy we do not accept returns on any special order items and she was made aware of that before purchasing. If the customer wants to pursue the return than she will need to continue with the manufacturer directly.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was unaware that these set covers would be just like the previous covers purchased. These covers are not useable due to the fact that the seats need to be possibly removed for installation and I do not want the seats removed. The Manufacture made me aware that they can be returned, and I would need to do it through extreme truck because they used their card to obtain to order. The last time I spoke with extreme truck they mentioned that they will have to contact the manufacture and then they will contact me in regard to the return. I made a second contact to the manufacture, while in extreme truck, and the manufacture stated that they do accept returns and that it'll have to be done through Extreme Truck. There are strings for instillation, but there's no way of accessing the stings for instillation.

       The cost of shipping is $38.08 (FedEx Ground) and the seat covers themselves from the manufacture was only $258.95. I was charged a total of $415.75 (after over a 50% markup, taxes, and shipping). I am still waiting on extreme truck to contact me for the return and they are fully aware that the covers can be returned.
