  HORRIBLE!! Charged my mother $200 for Diagnosis (check engine light) that Advance Auto will do for FREE. They took advantage of older women and made her think she was getting her car fixed. The representative set up an appointment, nothing was mentioned about diagnostic.

  ********** I am sorry for any confusion but can assure you that we would never try to take advantage of anyone. I am happy to refund the diagnostic charge, and I do want you to know that a diagnosis by a Subaru trained technician is far different than just pulling a code at Advanced Auto. It can take time to diagnose a vehicle properly, so people don't pay for an unnecessary repair. Again, it is far more important to me that you understand we would never take advantage of anyone than the $200. I am happy to cut a check back to your mother.

  Mother's day is saved! I am ************** and don't live in ******* and worry about my mom........so, I am very pleased and grateful! Thank you!!!She can now use the extra money to treat herself to a Mothers Day spa or pedicure. I understand the staff and business has to be paid for services. I was mainly expressing that $200 was a EXTREME amount to pay for services that are free similar businesses. I appreciate that your business provides a MORE DETAIL report. She is now looking to trade the vehicle for a more reliable one. Thanks for your GREAT customer service

  My A/C was failing on 30 July 2024 and sought assistance at Halladay as I knew no one else in ********. I was told the on and off operation of my A/C was due to a fauly/worn clutch on the A/C compressor that would need to be replaced for a total job cost of $1900. The work was completed and I left for my final destination in *******. One month later, after not using the A/C but just a little, I began my trip back east and found that my A/C was NOT fixed. It began acting on/off again as I approached *******, ** where I visited ****** Subaru on September 3rd. Another $400+ later, i get back on the road to find, yet again, my A/C is still acting in the same on/off way, mostly off. Upon return to my home town in *********, I immediately take my 2015 Forester to my local mechanic who quickly discovers that a $20 relay is the problem. While he was at it, he called the local Subaru dealer and learned that an A/C compressor would cost him $900. Still and out rage, but a far cry from the $1600 I was charged for the same part by Halladay. Simply, I've been ripped off by both dealers by incompetence, fraud, or both. I want some money back - a lot of it. I filed a complaint through Subaru, but have yet to get a reply.

  We bought a car 2 couple of months, and the engine light came on. well we were told that it is in the engine block. The quote would be $7000. We were very upset because i feel. the dealership should have known. They contacted up the day we picked it up. I dropped a bad review. I would like to apologize for that review. The people that work the are amazing. We got the same kind of car and our payments dropped $100. Praise the Lord. I will tell everyone to go there.******************

  My name is Larry L*** and I am a worker for the data centers here in Cheyenne. I relocated to help my company with manning and needed a vehicle ASAP. I went to Halladay Subaru and was rushed through the buying process and also was not informed of the Tax and registration payment of 2300.00 to the courthouse to recieve my plates. In my state of Texas the tax and registration is included in the price of the vehicle in Cheyenne its not and I was not verbally informed and when I went to the dealership I was told I can get a free oil change or the dealership would pay the late fees which there wasn't any because I had no choice but to pay on time. I have informed coworkers not to go to Halladay Subaru and buy a car in Colorado like I should have done. I have also informed two workers to go to Fort Collins and avoid what I went through at Halladay Subaru.
