My Passport Hub poses as a passport processing and renewal agency. The homepage opens to links for any of your passport needs and claims it is a service that helps get/renew and expedite your passport application. However, what they really mean is that they charge you fees to complete a FREE US Government form, they encourage you to "purchase insurance to ensure the passport is not lost or stolen, etc.", and then ask if you want to expedite the processing. What you end up getting is an emailed PDF of the US government form that you complete yourself on their site. They type in small print that they are a service but they know they are misrepresenting themselves. There is absolutely NO SERVICE from them. They pose as a passport renewal site and collect all of your personal information yet they actually don't and can't process your passport. They charged me as follows: $94.95 - passport service fee (leading you to believe you are paying your passport renewal fees), $39 for passport insurance (leading you to believe this is ensuring your passport process when they are submitting your information for you or during the mailing process), and ten $24.95 to expedite your passport processing (when what they really mean is to email you a PDF document faster. They took a total of $158.90 from me to email me a PDF document that is FREE on the government site... that's it! They provide no other "service". They aren't affiliated with the US government at all and shouldn't be allowed to pose as if they are or can help you with government documents. They also don't provide any privacy policy information during the process. I want to report them as a scam and want a refund in the full amount of $158.90. I have also gone through the process on their website to request a refund from them but I do not expect them to comply without support. I want to report this business as a complete scam in hopes that other innocent people do not get scammed like I did.
