Paid Noah van vleet $48,000 to build a manufactured custom home on oct 23,2023 .Now he's filing bankruptcy and no receipts or proof of building, also all addresses given are fake or he has moved out. Says assets will be frozen and no money. When i called BBB in October 2023 he had no complaints filied. If i would've seen other complaint i would've never met him. I hope he is arrested for fraud and grand theft. and that both parties that have been taken advantage of get money back. I have supporting documents contract and all text records etc. just at this time no way to download

On August 22, 2023 we hired Noah Vanvleet Construction (NVC) to complete our basement. He informed us that he was a general contractor but could do all the work himself (along with his employees) including the plumbing & electrical. He informed us it would be 100% completed by mid October 2023. We gave him a check (which he asked us to write out to him directly, not the company) for $10,500 to get going on the project. He didn’t show up for 5 weeks to “start” after this first check was given. And then with very little work done, he asked for another check for $12,500 on October 4th. When asked why he needed more money he simply said “we can’t continue without it”. He or his crew have been here maybe 10 days in total since August 22nd. He has refused to call or text us back and has not showed up to work on our basement for over 10 weeks now. Again, no communication in the past 10 weeks. My mother (Janet Wolfe) sold her house knowing she’d be able to move into our basement and has no place to live. We’re very frustrated.

During this time, we went several days without heat and of course was unable to get ahold of him. It gets very cold in Wyoming. Our house was in the 40’s F. We had to call a close family friend to help us in the meantime since NVC had taken our heating system apart.

Since signing the “contract” and writing the second check in October, I have learned that Noah does not have a general contracting license, no business license, and no electrical license. I’ve learned from several people in not only our community but our surrounding communities that they have been affected by Noah in similar ways that we have. He has essentially taken our hard earned money and ran with it. We’re devastated and don’t know where to turn. We’re begging for help. And to stop this guy from affecting anyone else in the future.

We have lots of texts/phone calls that have gone unanswered to show proof if needed.
