    As a former guide of this company, I feel the public needs to know about the truly egregious, unacceptable, abusive, and traumatizing way EcoTour Adventures treats its guides that makes ETA a truly reproachful, putrid, and toxic company. I had to leave the company after several years because I could no longer stand the way myself and others were treated as I kept seeing good and excellent guides, including myself, being continuously treated like trash that could be tossed into the dump or under a bus at will. If I could give the company zero stars, I would.Staff at all levels say deliberately mean things about other guides and guests. These include sexist, racist, and homophobic comments that are unacceptable and disgusting in any context. There is no one safe to bring this up to in the company as the higher *** seem to punish those that speak up before punishing those that say these things.There are some things I heard a male guide saying to and about female guides that the term inappropriate does not even begin to cover. There was a different guide I heard making passive-aggressive comments about a homosexual couple they took on a tour and using their sexual identity as a point of context for negative comments about the couple. Not to mention the guide that makes racist remarks that *** only heard second hand about. I have seen guides make fun of the public, both the public not on tour and guests from tours after the tour and that behavior will never sit right with me, but as I said, if I spoke up, I got punished and further emotionally abused.There are pages more to say, but not enough room here so I'll leave it at: before working for them, I could only imagine such rotten companies existed. My life would be 100% better if I never had, and I personally know I am not alone in these feelings; Im just the only one willing to say them. My life would be 100% better if I never had.
