In November 2023, I traded a 2021 Toyota Corolla that I owed $12,800 on for a 2023 Acura Integra. The car salesman Richard told me I would be financing $28,000. I was the impression I was buying an Acura Integra with a technology package that included remote start an upgraded sound system and two car keys with a driver one setting for key one and a driver two setting for key 2. It took months for them to get my paperwork done. They kept ignoring me I knew something wasn’t right because my payment was $500. When I finally got the final paperwork, my total loan amount was $31,785 and I had noticed the paperwork had added a $2000 warranty. Also, I kept calling Acura dealerships trying to figure out why I could not get my AcuraLink to work or get registered. So in January when I was in Salt Lake, I took my car to the Acura dealership lo and behold the salesman at the Acura dealership told me they had actually appraised this exact car, it appraised at only $28,000 and there was no AcuraLink or anything else on the car because it was a base model and it was actually one of their workers vehicles. 307 auto Plaza knowingly sold me a car with a base package for the price of a car with a technology package plus the extra warranty. I do not understand how I could trade a car that had at least $5000 equity have a good credit score and wind up almost $5000 upside down on this new car 307 auto knowingly overcharged me. I’ve called several times they will not answer the phone or at the least take the warranty off my bill. Maybe 307. Auto truly did not know this car did not have a tech package and if that’s the case I feel like they would have no problem refunding the money they overcharged the salesman. Richard told me here is the two keys one for driver one and one for driver two. So of course I was under the impression it had a technology package.

    Christine Nardi,

Im sorry that you have an issue. I have reviewed the car deal and nowhere in the paperwork or advertisement of the vehicle was it said that the Acura had the "tech package". I have also reviewed all of our phone logs for the last three months and we have only received one text from you just saying that you weren't happy about it not having remote start / tech package and you offered no solution to the issue. We are more than willing to cancel your extended service contract if that is what you would like. Furthermore the reason why your paperwork was delayed by two weeks is because your trade-in wasn't in your name. We explained that the finance company wouldn't allow a trade like that so we needed to switch financing to another lender. I have paperwork showing the vehicle listed and nowhere does it say the car had the tech package.

If the trade-in wasn’t in my name, why did 307 auto send the title back to me via FedEx last week because they needed my signature because the car was in fact in my name and my mother’s name. You guys need to credit me back that warranty money I spoke directly to Acura. It’s a new car. It comes with the Acura standard warranty. You guys lied to me.

in fact, the loan on your trade in was not in your name. You will need to sign a cancellation request and I will get the warranty refund sent to your Acura loan company. the warranty that you purchased extends past the factory. We will email you with the paperwork for you to sign.

I am rejecting this response because:
They sold me a warranty that I don’t need for $2000.  It’s a brand new car it comes with a standard factory warranty   Also, I was sold a basic model car and given the impression it had the technology package I was overcharged altogether

I would also like to add when the lady called me and sent my title back to sign. She was very nice and told me Richard would be calling me about the warranty. She acted as though it would be canceled. I told her Richard had not contacted me. The loan officer from my local bank tried contacting you several times. It wasn’t until the loan officer called from an outside Phone number that our calls were answered. I feel like I was purposely taken advantage of. I was also told my loan rate would be 7.2% It’s 9.24. I didn’t need to buy a car from you guys. I could have went out of state to the Acura dealership, but I chose to buy local.   You guys flat out lied to me about that car having remote start.
