    ordered a transfercase from midnight metal works in November of 2022 they said it would take 14 weeks to complete then it kept pushing the date out from there. i have never been contacted by the company and can not email them as it returns it to sender. I paid ******* for a product that was never sent to me and have had no communitaction from the company.

    paid 3938.43 for a mmw dana 300 on jan 5th 2023. was told i would recieve it within 14 weeks of payment. still have not recieved anything with no responce to calls, email or messages

    I purchased and was charged for a Complete D300 Rock Box transfer case for the amount of $4082.73 in July 2022. It is a custom cnc machined vehicle component. At the time of ordering, filling several phone discussions with Robert to ensure the correct configuration, I was given an estimated date of late August 2022 for delivery. Due to a number of manufacturing issues and vendor delays, the delivery date was moved. Initially to September, the. December and in march, I was told it’s coming right up. They have since ceased communication by phone, email, forum and social media. There are dozens of other customers in the same situation with hundreds of thousands of dollars received and no product delivered. I am hopeful, the BBB can assist in a portion of this resolution.

    We order a part from Midnight Metalworks over a year ago on 6-22-23. They took payment for the part but never supplied the ordered part. We have been attempting to contact them for the last year to get a resolution to the issue. They do not respond to emails or phone calls. They took $4,155.59 dollars without supplying anything. We are trying to get a refund due to their failure to supply the part ordered and failure to communicate with us.

    Midnight metalworks was hired to build a transfer case in July 2022 with a estimated completion date of November 2022. I paid close to $4000 for this transfer case and have not been able to get an update since December. It has almost been a full year. No update or refunds. Now they have been kicked out of the shop they occupied. Basically stole my money.

    I purchased a Dana 300 Transfer Case from this Business July 29, 2022. They said that it was a 12 week lead time for my product. They were good with getting back to me originally on why my product hasn't been finished yet, but now I've emailed them 2 times. Once on 4/10/23 and again on 4/16/23 and they will not respond to my emails. I even messaged them through their website and got nothing back. At this point I just want to get my money back, it's been 9 months already. I spent $3,919.08 on this product. I hope you can help me.

    The whole manufacturing industry took a huge hit during Covid19 and a lot of other businesses went under, this has created a ripple effect we are still feeling today. Sourcing materials and components for these transfer cases has never been harder, I have to put out for materials and components many months in advance from receiving them. On top of that I hand make each and every one of these cases myself, Solidworks CAD designing, writing tool paths, operating the CNC machines, assembly, shipping and customer service. I have had many setbacks in the last year that has pushed these customer orders out farther than I would like, we have a no refund policy listed on my website because when a customer places an order that money is put directly into the materials required to create the product.

    I am rejecting this response because: They emailed me after the BBB contacted them about the complaint. Like I stated in the original complaint the lead time on the product I ordered from them was 12 weeks. It has now been 10 months and in the email they sent there was still no talk about when the product would be finished or sent. I told Midnight Metalworks that since they have taken nearly a year that I have decided to go a different route with my project and I would like a refund. It's been 4 weeks now and I haven't received a response from the email I sent them in regards to the email they sent. I honestly just want to get my money back at this point. Pictures of their email and my response are attached.
