I was contacted on the phone by a agent of Start New Financial in January of 2024 his name is ***, we spoke about my credit card debt and he told me he could get me out of debt and get all my bills paid. After speaking with *** he informed me that if I paid $397.00 a month I would be debt free in 44 months and if i made 6 conservative payments in a-row with out miss any that stated February 4 2024 all my creditors would be paid in full and I would just owe the-remainder of the debt to Start New Financial, and my credit score would start to increase. After making 7 payments in a row something came up and I could not make the next months payment witch was Septembers payment.i called and they informed that my account was not set up that way and if I missed this payment I would lose the settlement they were paying to one of my creditors, I asked why and I didnt get a answer. I informed Start New Financial I no longer wanted them to handle my debt settlement anymore. I just today received a text message saying that if I cancel they close all settlements in progress and I loose all my money. I pay them $2779.00 over the last 7 months3 of these accounts have been turned over to collection and 2 of the creditors were never ever added. Im 63 years old and on SSD I dont have money to fight BS like this can you help? Im going to get a more reputable company to handle my remaining debt but I dont know if accounts turned over to collections can be paid this way anymore

Hello ****************** you for reaching out with this feedback.  Your debt resolution program was working beautifully and exactly as intended until the circumstance arose where you were not able to follow through with your September program draft.  Less than 25% of the way into your approximated 44 month program term, more than 40% of your enrolled debt had been settled for roughly 50% of what you originally borrowed from your creditors.  This is fantastic!  When we negotiate money saving settlements with your creditors, the assumption (based upon the agreed upon terms of your Enrollment Agreement) is that you will maintain your monthly program payment commitment.  Payments to the creditors for the settlements we achieve are funded directly by your monthly program payments and so any monthly program payments that are skipped or reduced directly jeopardizes the settlement payments the creditors are expecting.  Of course, Start New Financial understands that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may present challenges with your ability to make your monthly program payment, but please understand the basis for program success is based on our ability to negotiate timely settlements and your ability to provide adequate funds based on your commitment at the onset of your program.  This is how any/all debt resolution programs function.  We'd love to get you back on track and finish resolving your remaining debt.  If you are able to make up your missed September and October drafts in a timely fashion then there is a very good possibility we can keep chugging along.  Please contact our Customer Support team and we'll be happy to help!  ********* :)

Hello ****************** you for your response.  The two creditor accounts that you referenced, Klarna and Affirm, were/are not listed within your executed Enrollment Agreement as accounts you requested for us to resolve.  We are only able to the resolve the creditor accounts of which we are made aware of at the time of your enrollment.  If you would like assistance with these two accounts please feel free to call us so that you may re-enroll in our program.  We're happy to help you!

I am rejecting this response because:
When this whole thing got started *** I dont know his last name contacted me and said he could solve my credit problems. After talking with him he told me he had all my creditors right in front of him when he pull my credit file up, Im sure if he did that all my creditors would show up unless they can hide from the credit bureau. He told he if I paid x amount for x amount of months I would be debt free. That phone call was supposed to be recorded, so go listen to your recording. New Start financial lied to me about what you were supposed to be doing. Thank you ??
      Sincerely,

Hello ****************** you for your response.  The terms of your enrollment are within the attached Enrollment Document which you reviewed/signed on 1/18/24.  Page 14 of this document references the list of creditor accounts that were included within your Agreement.  Creditors Affirm and Klarna are not referenced within this list.  On 1/18/24, your enrollment representative ****** transferred you over to our Customer Support team and we provided a telephone/verbal Welcome Call with you during which we reviewed the terms of your enrollment, including the creditor accounts enrolled in your program.  Within this phone call we identified, and you verified, 8 enrolled accounts by creditor name, partial account number, and account balance.  Neither Affirm or Klarna were referenced by you or our representative during this verification process.  Please understand that our intention is not to be argumentative or difficult.  We simply are providing the written and verbal evidence to support our position.
