1 starSCAM!Charged me $177 to tell me the drain pump on a washer was broken, which is what I told them when I called. Rude and patronizing service - Showed up late, touched a button, charged me.They have also deactivated ****** Reviews - says there are ******* reviews, whatever that means. 1 starI would stay away from TechVill Apliance repairs company for any of your appliance repairs. The technician was ill prepared to could not give me a clear explanation of the problem with my Meila Microwave/oven repairs. Not only that, I had to help him lift the appliance out of the wall to do the repairs. The company is to cheap to send out the proper manpower to complete the service. After receiving misleading information to complete my assessment and repairs for $249.00 which I understood, I was expected to pay another $269.00 for the technician to come back and install a Thermal fuse worth $4.75. They were very comfortable with charging me $49.00 for the part. They tried to Offer me $50.00 discount if I help the service tech or they would charge me another $150.00. for another person. The costumer service department said, "I understand your frustration and we are sorry for not explaining our process," of how we were going to s**** you out of your money. Over $500 to change a fuse that I would have to wait 2 weeks for the part. Same day service, I don't think so. Further more, their ad is misleading and this company is not a ******************************** I walked away from this company and phoned Meile to come a do my repairs. 1 starReporting this business as a ***** entity, I came across this business on ******** Advertisement, I setup an appointment to fix my dryer which was not heating, I told the dispatcher very specific instructions that heating element is not working, they told me they have experienced technician who will bring the heating element with him while he do the diagnostics Technician came and he never checked the heating element and Performed diagnostics on heating element, he never even opened the heating cover of ****** to perform diagnostics When I ask for the proof of work performed such as what diagnostic they have done, technician said he spin the dryer, I was surprised with his answer because I can spin the dryer myself, I dont need technician to tell me, I told him on the spot and I have written proof that as per the request work is not performed because technician failed to provide any evidence of work diagnostic performed, he never even brought his tool with him. Later, I received a email to pay the invoice, they are charging GST but there company name and GST number is not mentioned on the invoice I refuse to pay the invoice under Alberta consumer act protection as this ***** business has so ***** victims like myself, This business also claim they have good reviews on ******, you cannot find their address on ****** search, *** ** ***** ******* *** **** **** **** ******** **** **** ****** ****** * ******* ******** **** ******** ** ******* ****** *** **** *** ************* *** *** ***** ****** *** ******** I request business bureau to reach out to me, I have all the proof and email conversation about this business and it is ***** businessReview fromDoug G

We had a serious issue with a built in milele oven and had planned a big family dinner. these guys came, diagnosed the problem. understanding the situation they rushed the parts order in and got it done a day before dinner. it wasn't cheap and we would spend that money all over again for the service we received. courteous and professional guys. highly recommend in ******* and ***** area.Review fromKat F

1 starI wish I could give ZERO stars. They are either ******** or completely incompetent - and they dont honour their warranties!! After an error message appeared on my washer, my tenant made the mistake of calling this company. The technician not only charged an obscene amount for a repair for my washer, but never even contacted me as the landlord to explain my options. When it broke down 2 months later with the same error message, they didnt honour the warranty and charged me for a second visit to literally put tape on a tube at the back. Nothing was fixed, and the same error message (and leak) were there. They charged $250 for that piece of tape and said it was a different issue so the warranty doesnt apply - even though they never fixed the issue! I couldnt get anyone from customer service to call me back after 2 weeks of calling. When my tenant saw the technician at another unit in the building, he told her all these machines just need to be replaced when they have that error. So why did he recommend and charge me not only for a repair that didnt last more than 2 months, but a follow up visit where he did literally nothing!! Either completely incompetent, or complete ********! Do not use them! They do not do a good job and do not honour their own policies!Review fromAmy R

5 starsI had a drain pump problem with my older washing machine and I thought it would be difficult to fix. Thank goodness ****** came and he did an excellent job, and quickly even though he able to go and get a new drain pump for my older machine. I was super impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and excellent customer service. I am already a repeat customer and I shall continue to be this. I am also a senior lady with mobility problems. I more than strongly recommend TechVill Appliance Repair Ltd. because it uses the very best technicians.Review fromBob H

Wow these guys are excellent. My 87 year old mothers refrigerator stopped working. The repair men were prompt ,polite, and extremely professional. The issue was solved and the fridge is working great! Thanks again for a job well done!

I needed to see if my Samsung fridge's Ice Maker could be repaired. This fridge, and many other Samsung fridges have numerous known design flaws, one of which Garrik fixed two years ago. This time, the icemaker stopped working a while ago. Technician John was so kind as he was explaining what he was doing, and also did a complete check of the fridge. Obviously, so knowlegable, too!! He gave great advice as to whether the IceMaker was worth replacing at $500 for the kit. Experience has proved that replacing bits at a time does not work in the long run, and would end up nickle-diming to far more than the entire kit costs. (reminds me of an old car I had problems with). To me, it's not worth the cost. It was a pleasure having **** come in to check, give advice, and fix numerous little problems, too. It's great to see that Techvill is still the number 1 Appliance repair company for honesty, and quality service, IMO!!!TechVill Appliance Repair Ltd.
