    I the spring of 2021 I contracted renovations in the basement of my home. Calgary Old School was hired by my general contractor *** *********** to fabricate and install 2 built in cabinets as part of this project. As of March 31, 2024 the cabinets are not installed. I have been given never ending excuses and outright lies why these cabinets have not been installed. I paid *** 50% of the contract value up front. To date 20% of the contract value has been completed. I want the outstanding 30% of the funds I paid returned to me. Neither *** or Calgary Old School respond to my phone calls or emails. WOULD YOU HIRE THESE CONTRACTORS?

    We hired Calgary Old School to build and install a new kitchen. A year later, a partial installation and endless excuses, staff problems, death in the family, firing family members and other workers who threatened to put a lien on our house as they werent paid. They ruined our ceiling when ripping work out that they couldnt agree on. We have an unfinished kitchen that we paid 80% for as they strategically ask for funds before they make a trip out, and also require 50% up front. Weve had to hire another company to come finish this work.
