      Living here has been an awful experience, theres a cockroach infestation where we have pest control come in like every week and still theres bugs. The rent is beyond high for the quality of living, the building and the bugs.The staff are extremely unkind and rude. Just an overall terrible experience. They come into units without asking. People are fighting in the lobby area. Its just terrible. I wouldnt choose this if I had no choice.

      I have never dealt with a business as bad as this one. For 4 months I dealt with a major leak coming from the bathroom above us. They told me I was lying even though I took live videos of it. We have homeless people living and cooking in our laundry room. One resident got slashed with a knife when encountering one. The rear main door window glass is smashed and the exit handle broken off. The only other exit door is almost broken also. If there was a fire the people in the upper floors would have to jump for it as the doors are not exitable. There are needles outside everything and my car, my truck, and even the gas tank on my motorcycle have been broken into.The management must not screen potential residents as the cops are always here.This place would make the worst sub par reality TV show ever.Better to live in a park.Hats off to the management for doing... well nothing

      The most disorganized group *** ever come across. I was given 3 different rent prices AND was told that electricity was included by 2 of the three people. It is not. I needed a place asap and decided to forgive their lack of communication about rent and electricity. Boy do I regret that. They told me to set up ***** for internet as they offer a discount to the building. ***** could not connect because they tiled over the outlet in the kitchen. They didnt actually end up setting up my electric account (which she got mad and rude at me for asking too many times about it. And after moving in, I found out that there is an actual drug den in the suite below me that I feel they should have disclosed. Weve had a number of unsavory people and paraphernalia in and out of the building, broken glass at the doorways, people sleeping in the halls, cops banging on their door announcing arrest warrants. The level of rude attitude and incompetence of the Avenue Living staff is mind boggling. The only employee Ive had a good interaction with is the maintenance guy (hes awesome and super helpful and friendly) and one phone agent who empathized with my above experience I shared. Unfortunately, after complaining to the company directly several times without any indication that they cared or are taking my experience seriously, am I here to share and to say I DO NOT recommend Avenue Living. Find another apartment. Its not worth the hassle as Im sure there are better-organized buildings and admin.

      I would give zero stars if I could. The property management here is completely unresponsive and unprofessional. There is a major issue with homelessness around the building, and they do absolutely nothing about it. Safety and cleanliness are clearly not a priority for ******* make matters worse, they dont even have the decency to provide basic customer service. My husband went to pay renttwiceand they refused to open the door because they were on lunch. Apparently, they couldnt spare five minutes of their time. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. If youre considering living here, think twice. Management does not care about its tenants.

      After booking a viewing for a unit advertised on their website, receiving multiple confirmation texts, we were hopeful. The day of the viewing I received a call from their ***resentative who informed me there were no available units for our specified date, I told him our date was flexible and we still wanted to view the apartment. He instead offered a viewing at a different building in a different part of town (we were not interested) I tried to confirm if our viewing had been cancelled and he informed me it hadn't been and that we were still booked to come in later that day. after our call I was notified our viewing was cancelled which was not what I had asked. I called back to re book the viewing and the *** on the phone let me know they didn't want to "waste their time" if we were not interested in the unit they were going to show us. This was after I had told them multiple times we were still interested in the viewing. Both ***s I spoke to on the phone were impatient and did not seem willing to listen to or answer any of my questions. Our viewing was re booked, however within the next couple hours the viewing time was moved twice with no notice or confirmation. We showed up for our original time, were shown into the building, meanwhile the *** answered his phone and spent the next 5 minutes ignoring us. He then informed us that the apartment's we would be viewing was not only occupied, but that the residents did not know we were coming to look. at that point we were uncomfortable and did not continue with the viewing. very unprofessional and disorganized. we are glad we did not move forward with this company, especially considering the other reviews we have been reading.

      First of all, when I first looked at the place at ************************************. The apartment was getting renovated and said no bedbugs or cockoaches. The second I moved in, I saw bedbugs and cockroaches everywhere. They promise to reduce my next month by 500$ because of all the ** I had to go to a hotel 2 times. Anyway. I got back to the *********** there were still ********************** Then I had to go to get a brain surgery that went wrong n I was in hospital for recovery for a month and a half. Then they demanded the rent, including the 500 they promised would be taken off. When I said no, I'll pay when there are no more bugs. Which my family made sure n checked for me every couple days. While I was in the hospital and my family moved me out of that dump, they tried to say I had to pay 2000$ for no payment. They sent the rentalsman papers to the ******* apartment and I had no way to get the papers n when I finally did get the papers on a Friday night,monday was the court date, so, I couldn't even call the rentalsman to explain my situation because it was to late. Avenue living clearly did this on purpose. I would give them -10 stars if possible.

      they lack in professionalism, the ability to be organized, and most of all THE Disregard to Peoples Quality of life. They moved myself and my daughter into a building with an ongoing cockroach problem. they told me it wasn't an emergency. iv had to throw away food, furniture, appliances, and not to mention time wasted trying to receive some sort of game plan from them. NOR are they helping to fix the problem. BEWARE TO ANYONE going to rent from them

      This is an extremely predatory company, they are not ashamed of their anti-competitive behaviour. When raising rents, they openly talked about "raising them to be in-line with ******** and *******". In addition, they have a habit of not providing three months' notice of a rent increase. Instead, they have a habit of giving a rent increase notice right before Christmas that is dated months before, with a deadline to accept being the end of the Christmas holiday. This is against the law, they are supposed to give three months notice. Also it should go without saying that this is a busy time of year, nearly everyone is on holidays.

      This company would not accept a co-signer for an apartment if the person wasnt going to live there? I mean if I was going to live there she wouldnt need a co-signer! Very stupid and after talking with someone who lives there, it appears we dodged a bullet as they increased her rent by hundreds over the last 2 years so she is moving. Do yourself a favour and dont rent from this company!
