This company should take responsibility for the actions of their installers and supervisors as that is why you have them. They represent the company. But as I have found out, supervisors for this company and the installers can tell you anything they want as the regional manager, which is in *******, has the final say. I had numerous issues with the install as well as damages done to the house. All issues were brought up to the supervisors, and they saw all the damages to the tiles, walls and railing within the first month after installation. They told me to do and what they would be doing to fix the issues, but unfortunately I received nothing in writing. I found out that supervisors are just there to appease a customer and say whatever the customer wants to hear, but the company doesn't back what they say, I should have asked a regional manager to come to my house to see all the damages done by their installers. All your supervisors saw the damages and shook their heads and said that shouldn't have happened, yet it did. I had told the salesman that I wanted 2 1/2 inch flat MDF, but received 3 1/2 inch which looked awful. Is it the homeowners fault salesman can't write down the correct information? I now have to buy new trim as well as I was told by the supervisors to take off the trim, fix and paint all the walls so when they come back, they would install the proper trim, which again, never happened, as supervisors have no real power to help a customer. So I have to buy new trim and hire a ********* to install and fix areas that the installers messed up. As well, is it the homeowners fault the installers break tile when they took off the old trim? According to this company, the answer is yes. I have to rehire a tiler to replace the ones that were broke by the installers. That cost should not be mine, but according to this company, it is. . This company installers can do whatever they want to your house without repercussions.

    Dear *******,

We would like to inform you that, unfortunately, we are unable to assist further regarding your request. The work was completed as per the terms of the contractual agreement (attached), and the casing was provided as specified in the contract. After the installation, the windows were inspected, and you confirmed that the work had been done to your satisfaction (completion form attached).

Please note that a new casing cannot be provided free of charge, as it is included only once in the original purchase order. The contract, which you reviewed and signed, outlined these details. Additionally, your inquiry regarding the installation comes more than a year after the work was completed, making it outside the scope of any claims for damages.

We remain committed to honoring your warranty for materials and labor related to the installation and as specified in the contract. However, any correspondence unrelated to our contractual obligations will not be addressed.

    Thank you for your understanding.

I am rejecting this response because: this company will not take responsibility for damaging customer property. The tiles they broke when they took off the original trim, was brought up to all the supervisors that came to the house. He took pictures as well, but I know that the original supervisor that helped with the install and had to come back to fix the basement windows in July and August of 2023, is no longer working for the company. He had received all the pictures of the damages and saw the damages that were noticed after the original visit but were shown to the supervisor on the second visit.

    Sincerely,

Here are a few of the emails. They will not take responsibility for damages they made to my ties.

Your inquiry regarding the damage has been raised more than a year after the completion of the work, placing it beyond the timeframe for any damage claims.

We remain dedicated to upholding the warranty for materials and labor associated with the installation, as outlined in the contract.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: the issues were brought up immediately with company supervisors multiple times through the months of July and August of 2023 when they had to come back to repair the poor installation of the basement windows.

The last installers I have now damaged my wall around the arched window that was also shown in attached pictures.

This company doesn't listen to the supervisors they appoint to represent the company. I know of * of these supervisors that are no longer with the company. Both of those were the first ****** the issues were brought up to, so according to the regional manager, I have no leg to stand on. These supervisors were the only ones that took pictures at the second and third time's they came out in July and August of 2023.

Why can't this company just take responsibility for the poor service and lousy installation that happened. They didn't believe me in the beginning of the windows freezing either, (yet after emailing since January of this year and calling- which they have now blocked my number and have hung up on me numerous times) they finally took off the trim in October of 2024 to find out that I was correct and the windows were incorrectly installed and the insulation had to be replaced. No one should have to fight to get service or repairs. And customers should be compensated for damages and poor service from this company.

This is all you are given for a contract. And I moved everything so they had the access they needed for the install. I was told it would be a two day job which I was fine with, but they decided to bring in 2 brand new crews to install the windows all on the same day. They had one supervisor trying to monitor them and the had one person that was supposed to be a ********* doing the trim, but he didn't know what he was doing either. Most the time they didn't speak English, but what I did hear and understand,  there was a lot of confusion in the crew on how to actually install the windows. It was like my house was the first time they had ever installed windows on.

We would like to bring to your attention that the installation was completed over a year ago, making the current complaint untimely. Nonetheless, we remain committed to honoring our warranty for any issues directly related to the installation. We respectfully request that the BBB carefully review this complaint and acknowledge that Weather Pro has made efforts to resolve the matter by offering viable solutions, which the customer has unfortunately declined.

I am rejecting this response because:these issues have been going on since August of 2023, as they were brought up to the supervisors. Damages to customer property seems to be ok to this company. They still do not take responsibility for their installers actions. The supervisor has the pictures. Yet as he is no longer with this company, the regional manager states this is all new. It definitely isn't new. Artiom knew about this and took pictures. He was fired by the company. So now the regional manager which is on *******, states that this is a new claim. I say, talk to your installers, if they are even with the company anymore, which the probably aren't. This WAS brought up in July, August, September, October of 2023... Then in February the regional manager got involved as I was having so many other issues with the windows, and wouldn't quit calling the company to fix the issues. So he now states it wasn't brought up. It definitely was, starting in August of 2023. NOT a year later as the company still states. But no one is left from when my windows were installed to say anything on my behalf. Weather pro windows are careless in their handling of customer property. Own up to what your techs did. Even in the last visit, they damaged my wall... That was just in the last month... Do not use this company as they damaged property and walk away from all responsibilities.

    Sincerely,

The windows were installed in April, and since then, we have been trying to resolve this issue. I paid over $****** to have the windows and patio door replaced. However, there is a problem with the door: it is drafty. I have sent them over ** emails, but no solution has been provided. They claim the door is fine (just look at the picture). As for the two bedroom windows, I was strongly recommended sliders by the salesperson, who advised me not to even consider other options. I was promised that these sliders would significantly reduce noise compared to my previous windows. However, the installed windows do not limit any noise, making the bedrooms unusable as bedrooms.I proposed a solution where I would pay the difference to upgrade to other windows, but they are insisting I also pay for the installation again. Additionally, I would like them to fix a trim that was not insulated professionally.

We would like to clarify a few important points regarding our ongoing efforts to address your concerns. Our service team has been in continuous communication with you throughout this process. To date, we have conducted five service appointments since the installation to address your concerns. Our installers have confirmed that the double door does not exhibit drafts when used correctly. The observed issue appears to arise from excessive force being applied to the door. There is no gap when the door is used as intended. The sliding windows were installed in full compliance with the agreed contract. We have explained that noise transmission through sliding windows is a known characteristic. While triple-pane sliding windows are highly effective at reducing high-frequency sounds, they may have limitations in blocking low-frequency noises. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered to replace the sliding windows with a combination of fixed and casement windows at factory price. This would constitute a new order and incur an additional cost, as the previously installed windows were supplied and installed in accordance with the contract. Regarding the picture you provided, please confirm if you would like to proceed with the window replacement so we can streamline our scheduling and address all concerns in a single appointment. If you would prefer to address only the trim-related issues, we are prepared to arrange a service appointment for that purpose. During the installation, the casing around your casement window was damaged. We have already committed to replacing it during the next appointment, and this will be completed as promised. We remain available to discuss or clarify any additional concerns. Please do not hesitate to reach out for further assistance.

He just shoved caulking into it. Look disgusting. I refused to sign off on the job. The front door was a safety issue. My custom-made roller blind would not fit my kitchen window anymore and I just got it last year. The whole job was a nightmare in November. a team came to fix the first teams work they were there for four hours. The storm doors were not what I paid for the front door safety hazard every time I pull the storm door open as Im going through the front door it slams into me I have a small landing seven stairs, going down and seven steps going up . I have a ************** down the stairs when that storm door hits me.. The Calgary supervisor said the storm door was bad to get rid of it and just use the front door with a screen in it so I asked him to take the storm door back told me his team had to leave. The service guy came out changed the pump on the storm door is still slamming shut so is a safety issue and Im not getting a chance to get through the front door before it hits me. The service guy recommended that the storm doors be removed the windows need to be replaced as the guy could only check for drafts coming through the windows with a lighter I honestly thought there would be a gadget to show the leaks that were coming through the windows, but as the windows are too small for the openings and got filled with expanding form, it does not work. Also, the guy didnt check the outside of the window to see if it was properly sealed, and he couldnt feel the cold coming in as he had been working outside all day and his hands were frozen so please I would like the storm doors to be taken away and refunded and new windows to fit properly without * inch gaps around it does not work. My house is as cold or colder before I had these windows put in.. Before I have an accident with the storm doors. They need to go sooner rather than later.
No Idea how the wood lice are coming in and the guy did not know my doorbells are working I think he was aware that something was right when he was here for the reinstall off the storm doors and trying to fix the bedroom window and the roller blind that is too short for my kitchen window as it was installed up above the window.
I am waiting for a response from Weather Pro on what they reply will be from the guy sent out and these where his recommendations as he had already in November told his boss that the doors had to go and bedroom window not up to standard

I was alarmed that a lighter was used I asked did they not have a proper device to check for the cold to come through he said no The installer told me the windows where not good should be changed the pump on the storm door is just as bad as the last one and should be removed the installer had told me in November the windows where not a good fit and it had taken him and a team of three to redo everything that was installed on the ** October 23 he had passed on the information to Mr *************************** dir="auto" style="color: rgb(36, 36, 36); margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-size: 15px; font-family: "Segoe UI", "Segoe UI Web (West European)", -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, Roboto, "Helvetica Neue", sans-serif; font-stretch: inherit; border: 0px; line-height: inherit;">But Mr *********** is telling me the complete opposite I do know the windows need to be replaced as the gaps are to wide the windows where supposed to be custom fitted to my frame as at least 2 inches each side too short they are not up to code As for the storm doors the doors ordered for 6 inch kickplate. Dear *********,

Woodlice: These insects thrive in damp environments, which is why they typically dont survive long indoors, as homes are generally kept dry and warm. However, their presence in your home could indicate an underlying moisture issue. Our installer inspected the window to check for any contributing factors and there were no issues with the window.
Storm Door: Storm doors are designed to act as windbreakers, provide ventilation, and serve as a loose thermal barrier. They are not intended to be completely airtight. Based on the manufacturers assessment, the storm door is functioning as designed and is not defective.
Windows: Our installer did not claim that the windows were faulty. They were manufactured and installed in compliance with national codes and standards.
Doorbells: The installers did not damage any doorbells and are not responsible for any issues related to them.

We purchased ** windows for our home. We dealt with a salesperson for WeatherPro where we discussed that because we were not replacing all of the windows in our home, that the inside color of the windows needed to match the trim and other windows. I texted a photo of the color swatch against our trim. Weatherpro revised the contract but made a mistake and put the color on the outside instead of the inside. I executed the contract to authorize the additional **% charge for the custom color. Windows arrived and they are the wrong color on the inside. Weatherpro refused to admit their mistake and replace the windows with what we ordered. The manager of the Calgary location was incredibly rude, borderline hostile. We stopped them after they installed * windows, the remainder are sitting in my Garage uninstalled. Notwithstanding, Weatherpro then fraudulently submitted our contract for payment through the financing company FinanceIt.io claiming the job had been complete. I had called FinanceIt.io the day before and told them not to authorize the release of funds but they did anyway. At this time they claim they will reverse and pull back the funds but at this time they have charged me money without actually installing the order. I have never witnessed worse customer service than I have with ***********************. The Regional Manager is rude and combative, and told me that they would not stop installing the windows. I had to yell at him over the phone to get him to stop.

    Dear ****,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns.

Upon review of the documentation related to your project, it is noted that the initial agreement between yourself and Weather Pro Windows and Doors was entered into on February **, 2024. This agreement outlined the supply and installation of ** windows in white color, both internally and externally. Subsequently, after final measurements were taken, a work order was marked by the installer indicating your request to change the exterior color to Sandstone instead of white. Upon confirmation with the Project Manager, you electronically signed an amended contract on March **, 2024, at ******* PM, reflecting the updated specifications and pricing for the painted exterior windows (The copy of the e-signed contract is attached for your reference).

It's important to note that our contracts include a 10-day cooling-off period during which customers have the option to cancel. However, beyond this period, the contract becomes binding.

It is important to note that your order was manufactured in accordance with the specifications outlined in the contract you signed. However, in an effort to accommodate your request, we offered a solution to paint the jambs or trim, notwithstanding that the order had been completed as per the contract terms. Regrettably, you have opted not to accept this resolution.

We kindly ask that any public statements regarding this issue accurately reflect the details of the contract you signed, including the agreed-upon specifications and terms and conditions.

Regarding the installation process, it is noted that after the installation of * windows, you requested the installers to leave. As per the terms and conditions outlined in the contract, the delivered windows remain your property, and we will not be arranging for their retrieval.

Should you require further clarification or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

I am rejecting this response because the Company is not taking accountability for the mistake they made on the order I made with their sales representative.  It was clear what we ordered, being the custom color on the inside, as evidenced by the photo of the color swatch against my interior trim that was provided to the sales representative.  They are supposed to be the experts and they were the ones who had the pen on the contract and have a responsibility to properly complete the document.

In addition, they have not completed the installation and there remains ** windows uninstalled in my garage.  They then approached the finance company and fraudulently informed them that funds should be released even though the work had not been completed.  This was in violation of the terms of the loan agreement.

This is a company that has not taken responsibility for the mistakes of their staff and now want the customer to pay for their error.  They have then engaged in misrepresentations to obtain payment from the third party financing company which they required me to use, notwithstanding that I informed them I had no interest in financing the job as I was going to pay the full amount at the end of the work.  They would not proceed with the contract unless I entered into the financing arrangement.

    Sincerely,

    Dear *******,

The attached picture does not provide any relevant information and cannot be considered a valid agreement. What is crucial is a signed contract that demonstrates you have personally reviewed, signed, and initialed the paperwork, with the terms and conditions clearly outlined. The contract specifies the custom exterior color, which has been provided to you.

You stopped the installation process after our installers completed five windows, instructed them to leave, and refused the installation of the remaining windows. There was no fraud involved when the funds were requested from the Finance It company that is financing your project. Weather Pro receives payment once you are in possession of the goods.

We are prepared to continue the installation at your convenience. Please contact our office when you are ready to proceed.

    Dear ***********************,

We would like to clarify the following points regarding your contract with Weather Pro Windows and Doors:

Initially, you contracted with us for white windows, specified for both the interior and exterior (see attached contract #********* attached). Afterwards, you requested a change to the exterior color, as evidenced by the photo of the color sample included in your rejection response. This change led to a revised contract, which you reviewed and duly signed, thereby confirming the updated specifications (see attached contract #*********).

Weather Pro Windows and Doors has fully adhered to the specifications outlined in the revised contract. However, upon expressing your concerns, we proposed additional solutions to ensure your satisfaction:

    Painting of the jambs or
    Painting of the crown molding

Unfortunately, you chose not to accept any of the solutions and decided against continuing the installation with our team.

Currently, as per your directive, only five of the delivered windows have been installed. Should you reconsider and wish to complete the installation of the remaining windows by Weather Pro Team, the company is ready and willing to proceed, despite the fact that you decided to stop the installation process and asked our team to leave your premises, confirming that you do not wish to proceed with further installation by our crew. Please note that the company will incur additional costs due to the interruption initiated by you. Please feel free to contact us to discuss or to schedule the completion of your project.
