I am a multi property owner who first hired FOS in Sep 2020 for an Airbnb flood. The beginning it was going smoothly. Came and took the floors and walls out and started running fans and drying everything out. Dec.1 I had to contact *****, the ** at the time, regarding the fans that had been running for 2 1/2 months. No one came back. Dec.4 they came a got fans and left the window in the basement completely out. It was -30 I. Dec in ********! Not only Electric bills, pipes free, mice come in and crime happens. My tenant put the window back in. *** paid a portion of my tenant electrical bills for the three month they disappeared. Months later they finally finish. Or so I thought! They covered the back flow vent and built in vacuum with a wall, lost head main piece to my vacuum and just drop the furniture without putting it back together. About two months later all the trim around the doors and the baseboards started bowing. They were all coming off the wall. Again back to flight to get the repairs done. NOW the BIG one! I started to notice that the new flooring is turning red. It has been almost two years now. *** has sent out **** the second **, ***** is gone now, to test the floor 3 times for moisture and ZERO. They even took a piece out and tested it! No moisture! They are saying its moisture. I have been told twice by past FOS employees that it's likely a glue issue. They more than likely ran out of glue and used the wrong glue for the flooring for the second half of the suite. The last ** **** who did all the testing even emailed this. Just when I thought I was getting somewhere **** is gone. Now on to ** three *** and now *** is back to try to tell me it is WATER! OMG I can't even! This company is terrible. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. They won't take responsibility for their mistakes and once they know it's their fault they just keep brushing you off hoping you will go away! AVOID at all costs! You will be happy you did!

The apartment Im in (owned and managed by Morguard) has tested positive for black mold. The management company agreed to pay for my belongings to be remediated and they insist upon hiring FirstOnSite. I asked Morguard what chemicals and procedures FirstOnSite would be using/performing. ******** said to call FirstOnSite to get that information. I thought perhaps FirstOnSite would have their mold remediation protocol on their website. They do not. I called and they refused to tell me what their protocol for mold remediation is. This is the voicemail I received from FirstOnSite:"Yeah hi this message is for _____ my name is *** with first on site. You called our office about work we're doing in the unit at the Coast downtown for Morguard and you're looking for some information and I talked to Morguard. If you need any information please contact Morguard. I'm not to give you any information theyre who you need to contact if you if you need anything as far as an information on products or anything else um.These are my personal belongings theyre being hired to remediate. I believe I have a right to know what their protocol is. Why theyre not transparent about this basic information in general is beyond me. I also called and talked to so many people at FirstOnSite I found out their protocol, whatever that *** be, varies state to state. Bottom line, theyre not getting the job.

Our home caught on fire July 5 2021 as of July 11,2023 still not done. They have ruined us. We had to come out of pocket for things they said were done but were not, they lied on the contract about what they had done they charged us for granite but only laminated it. *** complained of our property because the workers left beer bottles and urine-filled water bottles everywhere it was 4 truckloads. ******************* and *********************** GM have refused to take my phone calls. They stopped work on our house after we paid them . They owe us money they refused to pay us back on. These people and this company our liars and they prey on consumers. I pray to God daily this business gets what they deserve they do nothing but rob people. And my prayers always get answered!

This Company needs restoration. We had carpet installed after our water heater burst, and the installer with 30 years experience had to replace it when it was put in crooked. Now, everyone who goes down to basement is constantly getting hurt on staples. The carpet is now starting to lift. I am so frustrated with the nonsense we went through with these people.

Working with this company after a condo flooding above ** has been a nightmare to say the least! It has been over 6 months, we have been forced out of our home 2 times for a month or more each and even then no or little work was completed. We returned home on Dec 23rd to having no lights yet installed and a flooded kitchen floor. The project manager on this site is so irresponsible , blames everyone else, including us for issues that crop up due to her neglect. We have had conversations with many of her trades who clealy are upset as well and they easily state that she knows not what she is doing nor does she care. She critisizes us, sends pretty nasty emails and we can go weeks even a month with no communication. This last time, we havee been licving in our condo now for over 2 weeks with no stove and our fridge and toaster in the living room. I would rate a zero or lower which is God's truth in the work and effort I have seen in over 6 months!! She initially said 2 weeks!!!!!! Has ruined out life now for the entire time.

Alas, I gave them two stars cause I was feeling generous. Should’ve been one. Sept. 11, 2022 we had a huge storm come through which drops 10” of rain in a 24hr period. Out downstairs flooded because the sump pump decided to quit that day. We have a fully finished and furnished open basement. FirstOnSite showed up first thing that Monday and assured us that everything would be taken care of and restored back to the way it was. Well it’s been 5 months and between the drywall dust, paint splatter on woodwork, furniture and doors, along with appointments endlessly missed, or 5 hours late or just not showing up at all, it’s been an experience. When they did finally show up to clean the electrical outlets they plastered up they had lost a number of screws to the outlet plates, along with again forgetting to touch up the paint where the carpet layers scratched it up. Now we get to the cleaning crew. They were at the house for two days doing what I don’t know. They moved six large pieces close to where they were supposed to be, but after they left after two days things were still full of drywall dust paint splatter and nothing actually put back where they’re supposed to be. Furniture is scratched up, some damage, cause they don’t properly cover the furniture and obviously don’t use professional moving people. Also since the downstairs is almost 2000 sq. ft. They miscalculated the amount of baseboard and door casings which all had to be specially milled. We’ve a boatload of door casings and short 50 linier feet of baseboard. Everything is delayed because they don’t double check their figures and don’t order on a timely basis. I’d have to say, my issue is Don’t Over Promise, and Underdeliver! My partner and I have accomplished more in three days than what FirstOnSite has done in five months. Not my idea of quality work.

this company First onsite is the worst company I have ever tried to help with when our basement bathroom flooded. we got no help at all, and had to buy a water pump- garden hose and do it our selves. The customer service I got totally sucked and they should all be fired if they can't do their jobs right!
