      Bought couch and love seat on iFurniture website, after I visited the store and viewed couches. ***** *********** paid, delivered on Jan 5, 2022. Couche faded after 6-7 month of being in my house, so quality issues and they are not honorable about it. Stating their warranty and their manufacturing warranty does not cover this. Their quality is clearly terrible, my couch faded after 7 month of being in my living room, in Edmonton, Alberta, so winter city and it should be . I contacted the ifurniture.ca ... I should be compensated or replacement should be provided to me.

      We just checked with the manufacturer and they mentioned that the warranty does not include the damage, worn, color change, fade, and mold on upholstery, stitch, fabric, leather, and vinyl.

      This is *** and I'm the store manager from ifurniture. I understand your situation. From the pictures, our sofa specialist checked and told me it's from sun damage, and sun damage can cause the fabric to dry out, fade, and even crack. The warranty does not include the damage, worn, color change, fade, and mold on upholstery, stitch, fabric, leather, and vinyl. Seeing your favorite sentimental couch begin to fade is never a happy moment. The bright side is that there are many tactics you can use that will help you minimize sun damage and slow down any possibility of fading or discoloration. It all comes down to applying both dedication and consistency with your efforts.

      Hi ******** ,

      The customer bought a  3 pieces sofa set in January and the sofa was put at the window and was exposed directly to the sun. As a very sunny city we have a average of 2345 hours and 325 days bright sunshine in a year. The back top of the sofa started fading because of the directly sunshine while the other two are find. She then asked a full refund or replacement. There is no store or manufacture will cover that if the customer did not buy extra care package of it and this is the common sense that the sun can discolor the fabric sometimes. We can not give warranty for this. I have attached the two pictures she sent to us for your reference.

      I am rejecting this response because:

       

      I bought 2 pieces of furniture in Jan 2022, noticed fading in July. June we had record amount of rain and very limited sunshine. I also keep my blackout curtains closed most of the time due to the fact that I work from home and I need avoid the glare on my screen. 

       

      I'm asking for compensation or refund based on the fact there is no warning about low quality of fabric and its poor customer service to blame their customers on weather conditions in Edmonton which is a winter city. 

       

      I find their response and customer service is sub-par and unacceptable to others that plan to spend money. I hope *** is going to make it known to future customers. 

       

      This business has lost a loyal customer. I want refund, not replacement at this point of conversation, so I can get a better quality furniture.
