      I purchased a boat through Sparta Finance in 2022 and was toldexplicitly via emailthat all taxes were included in the financing and that I wouldnt need to pay anything further. Sparta handled the entire transaction, including the financing, paperwork, and boat registration, so I trusted that everything was properly taken care of.Two years later, I received a letter from the BC Ministry of Finance saying I still owed over $7,000 in unpaid provincial tax. When I followed up with Sparta, I got no response for weeks. Eventually, they told me they only collect GST and claimed no responsibility for ** taxesdespite knowing the sale was taking place in ** and handling every step of the process.If I had been told the *** or any other tax was still my responsibility, I would have planned for it. Instead, Im left with a huge unexpected bill for something that could have been easily avoided with clear, upfront communication.I have an email from Sparta clearly stating that all taxes were included and nothing more would be owedwhich makes this even more frustrating. Buyers in ** should be extremely cautious. Double-check all tax obligations yourself, because if there's a mistake, Sparta wont take any accountability.

      I recently had Sparta Finance purchase my limited GP edition R1 on behalf of their client. And despite my initial apprehension their **** ******* *., was extremely professional, detailed, accommodating and genuine to deal with. He made for a smooth and stress free transaction. Overall, from a seller's perspective, it was a good experience. He even followed up with a pic of his client (new owner) which was a nice touch - he looked very happy.
