  My fiancée and I were looking to upgrade from our double bed and came across the Douglas website. The site was very informative on what type of mattress that would suit our needs. It also compared their brand to other brands and even after all that, we still chose the proud Canadian company.
  The mattress shipped within days of purchasing it, and arrived without any damages. We opened it up and let it breathe for a couple days (while we bought a bed) before setting it up.
  Now that it's set up, sleeping on it has been a completely different experience! The mattress is firm, but soft. One of us can shift in bed and the other doesn't even feel it. We're side sleepers, and the bed is so comfortable, we're sleeping in other positions (back, stomach). We're really impressed!

  We are very happy with the quality of mattress and the total experience of dealing with the company.
  It arrived quickly and was easy to setup.
  The mattress has improved my sleep in the area of pressure points on the hips and the warmness (cooling effect).
  It has only been a month but we are completely happy.

  Took a minute, but I’m so happy This arrived so fast, the small amount of off-gassing was gone by the time I made the bed, and I was able to re-use the plastic wrap to pass on my old mattress and box spring. I found the double mattress firmer than I expected (It’s on top of a slat bed frame), so I added the memory foam topper from my old bed. I’m very happy now, after almost one month. I start on my stomach and wind up on my side over night, but I no longer wake up stiff and sore. I generally sleep warm, but no longer wake up sweating. A great Canadian product, at a great price. So glad I did this for myself.

  Great products and value for money.
  I ordered one of this company's Douglas mattresses after doing a bit of research, and I did not want to spend a lot. It is exactly as described! My sleep is much better on it than it has been on others in the past. I thought I'd sink into a foam mattress and be hot and uncomfortable, but not so. It does let shoulders and hips sink in, but supportively.
  I also bought a foundation from them. While it requires self assembly, it's very sturdy and aside from a few initial creaks as it settled under my weight it has been very quiet. Both purchases arrived within a few days of ordering, and faster than expected.
  It's only been a month or so, but I love this bed. And the more I sleep on it, the more I love it.

  Haven’t had a new mattress ever- at age 55 we said it’s time!
  The Summit has been really amazing…my old man hip joints actually don’t ache in morning.
  So, a shout out to the good folks at Douglas. We really appreciate the professional efforts.

  I came across their website while I was searching for mattress that would be helpful for the backpain we were experiencing from our old ones. I placed the order and it was delivered well ahead of the scheduled delivery. The packaging was really neat. Since we started using their mattess I have not had any back pain. The mattress is very comfortable and I would definitely recommend their matteress for peaceful sleep.
