      EPCOR IS A SCAMMER COMPANY, makes extra Billions of dollars from poor customers by scamming them big time. They send estimated readings, not taking the actual reading of meter, still keeping decades old meters installed in houses giving false over readings. Why can't they replace meters which can be read remotely from the road. Scamming customers for no access fees, by falsely claiming , there was a dog, the gate was locked. Service/ lines men not bothering to call before going to a property to connect electric line or for Inspection. Overcharging for Garbage but failing to pick the Garbage drums. Only 2 pickup dates for Fall season. Picking the Garbage Drum only twice a month while the Garbage rots in the sun with a foul stench and poisonous gases coming out. Keeping one date in October or 3rd week of November when there is snow fall already and cut bundles of bushes buried under snow. Charging more for Energy than any other supplier in the Town. They are Robbers looting the common public as they have monopoly, in ***************** lines and Water Supply. The will come and cut your power or water without any notice.

      Epcor has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Trying to charge me for a house I never moved into after cancelling multiple times they looked back and never saw a call from me or that I said I needed to cancel. They don't call back or help in anyway. Makes me regret buying my house where they service water

      I have never seen a company where you cannot get hold of anyone for help. What kind of company does not have a chat line or have a callback feature? I often have to wait for 2 hours. When you call they tell you to log into your account online but it seems like you can't make changes, etc so you have to call them. Plus often when I call I am told all lines are busy and to call later. I am definitely shopping for another provider.

      This company would not work with us They extort money from you. Charge a fee wen using credit card. They gave one fee to pay we called back wouldnt honour that price up it another ******

      I had an account with ***** by **********************. And then switched to just EPCOR. The account login online was the same for both accounts. There was an amount owing for the ***** account that was paid. Epcor put that amount to my EPCOR versus ******************* (EPCOR account is now overpaid). Account shows up as overpaid and up to date online. They filed with collections for the encor amount. Not impressed with this company considering all of my bills were paid, and it was an error on their end.

      Two weeks late on a bill, first time ever late, and a guy shows up to disconnect my power. No notice at all. Currently shopping for another provider.

      Shocking business practices. My debit card for automatic withdrawals had expired and I was charged a $25.- penalty even though I paid the bill with my credit card on the very same day it was due.

      I sold my house last year. Called epcor to state my move out date and to cancel my service as they were not available in my new area. All good until month ago i received collections notice in the mail saying I owe epcor money and of course this is now sitting on my credit score. Apparently they are allowed to open a whole new account without approval and start charging you, no phone call nothing in the mail. I find this super annoying, the process that needs to be done to try to reverse a mistake they made is absolute ridiculous and a waste of time on my end. There are repercussions for us not paying a bill but nothing for them wrongfully charging me a bill that somehow went to collections without me even knowing about it. If I could rate this company 0 or less I would.

      one of the worst companies ever. so rude, when i paid my bill, they told me it was working so i checked, turned the vaulve on and off multiple times and waited for as long as i could and still got absolutely nothing. i do not recommend going with this company

      They can't seem to get their invoices out before the middle of the month, which is so annoying when every other company like Shaw, Bell, Atco, etc can get their act together to invoice people at the beginning of the month. Epcor just gets later and and later with invoicing which is so annoying when trying to budget for the month. Would dump them if I had a choice.
