Was very eager to start the job of painting my condo until he actually got it. Took several months to return painted cabinet doors although was initially told would be short time only. Was recommended by my realtor who she says he did a good job for but once he received payment in full from me he became very difficult to get a hold of. The contractor promised to come back and do touch ups which would only take an hour or two, I contacted him at the beginning of May 2022 and continued to do so up until the end of October 2022. I contacted him no less than 12 times and while he would often respond it was with a “I’ll call you after work” or “I’ll get in touch with you after the weekend” this never happened. I was very flexible about the when but he would never show when he said he would. The excuses I got were many and varied from his crew calling in sick, to him having too much work to a whole host of personal family stuff. I would only hear after I kept reaching out to find out why he was not here. I tried leaving an honest review on his Facebook site but he removed the post and immediately blocked me (even though he had pics of my place on his site).
I eventually told him in late October that I was giving him one last chance. He said he was available all day Thursday and Friday and asked me to choose. Knowing his pattern, I said Thursday morning in case he postponed yet again. The contractor never showed and I asked him why not. Apparently the job he was on was taking longer than he thought. I waited all day only for me to be told at the end he would be there the next day. The next day same thing although he did show late morning to take a look. Said he would be back in a hour or two and never heard back until I reached out. He said there was no lacquer and I would just have to wait again for another day. I told him I would not waste my time again waiting for him. I now have to pay someone else to finish a part of the job that was included.
