    Company used the wrong bank account to withdraw payments, waved the fee due to the issue, caught up with the payment, and now they are threatening to send a balif because I didn't pay the 50$ "missed payment fee"

    Absolutely zero ethics. They dont care about their staff or their customers. They are harsh and treat people like garbage.

    This company is a theif ripped me and together with the auto company and sales department all connected together to rip people as the government has no control over this company iam so badly ripped ??

    They are a horrible company ripping you off and making their own laws and when you try to question them they get mad and come up with something to blame you for or tell you that about an issue that happened way in the past I have had to change my payment frequency or ask for it to be changed and met with a yeah we can change that for you and when I double check they say everything is good and not to worry then when the day comes they pull the money on the wrong day so you call to inquire and they say that nothing has been done on their end bunch of lying good for nothing fools running that business if you see Rifco as the lender run and dont look back had I known that it was going to be this much of a hassle I wouldnt have even got the car.and your fees and how much time you have to give to change something is a bunch of garbage I never heard of 8 days to change a payment and 30 days for a defferal and a 120 dollar fee just to change it they dont work with you they tell you what you are going to do. I dont know how they can get away with this c*** enough is enough!!!!!!!! Signed one very frustrated customer

    I pay on time I have no issues yet with them besides only one an that's when you try contacting the ones that contacted you an get no replies back .

    Dont let what they said below scare you, if they seize your car and then try to collect, pay the $75 for small claims and have judgment brought against them."Rifco National Auto Finance Response 10/05/2022 With ********* lender a customer will sign a Conditional Sales Contract in which the Seize or *** provision will be enforced across many provinces. Rifco National Auto Finance differs in which our customers sign a Loan Agreement.When the Law of Property Act was amended to include the seize or *** provisions it adopted the language of the Personal Property Security Act, but limited its definition of personal property security interest to only circumstances where a seller retains an interest in the chattel, notwithstanding the broader definition found under the Personal Property Security Act which includes circumstances where a third-party lender retains a security interest in a chattel (the way Rifco does). This difference reflects the definition and purpose of its predecessor legislation and definitions found under the Conditional Sales Act.Furthermore, Section 53(6) of the Law of Property Act excludes purchase money security agreements that provide security interests which are not purchase money security interests as defined by the Law of Property Act.Rifcos loan agreement falls within this exclusion as it does take a security interest, but not as a seller, and not as a seller by assignment.If enforcement is required due to Loan Agreement bring in Default Rifco has the option to repossess and collect on any deficiency balance in *******.When a customer signs a Loan Agreement an interest rate was acknowledged and agreed to. As long as the payments are paid on time, every time, with no changes to the original terms and conditions, the cost of borrowing will not exceed the amount provided on the original loan agreement."

    My wife missed one payment because of switching jobs and they email her threatening to repo her car she literally only got winter tires and rims how can they repossess a vehicle she is still paying for through someone else over over a single missed payment !?

    Still waiting on a manager to call me regarding my account and was told twice by employees theyd email me follow *** with no answer. Getting increasingly frustrated because its clear they dont care to assist with customer care, they partner with predatory dealers and then dont work with you on any resolutions.

    A very horrible company to do business with. **************** zero. You contact an agent, make a payment arrangement and the next agent comes up with something totally different from the previous arrangement you have already made. They agree not to remove money from your account according to an agreement reached, the very next minute they're making the withdrawal putting you in a very tight situation. They should be sanctioned because they have no business being in business.

    Loan agreement is horribly written, they have all access to Change the terms without request or consent or signature. They have, the pay off balance increased by 3,000$ over the pay off balance on my account my detailed loan history. Though my account is in good standing they report the payments missed when I called and notified them I cut of their PAD as stated in the contract to my right they still tried to take payments and re attempts racking up 340$ a month in fees despite me making the payments on my own. And they say the fees arent even included in the pay off balance which once you pay off your vehicle will re extend the loan at the same interest without your permission. This company is utter trash, their customer service is trash and they will bumble and be yelled at all through a conversation just to have you so mad they can hang up and not do anything.
