      I've had the device for around eight months now. I'm extremely frustrated and honestly disheartened reading all of the similar reviews here. So far I've had to swap out my battery 4 times in my vehicle, and after reading further I can see why. My cars battery is tucked under the driver side wheel well so its no walk in the park swapping this out. I understand that I am to deal with the consequences of my actions. But soaking people for cash after making yes... a very bad mistake is just pure evil. I lost my license for 7 years, and need this device mandatory for 3 years. After my impaired I cleaned my life up. Went to college got a great job to support my family. Now I'm afraid ill lose my job or put my family in danger while on the road because of this unreliable device. This is truly a disturbing circumstance to be in.

      no stars **** off i been really on trying by pass the smart lock they owe 170 dollars to for f*** ** up machine that giving( close month ) is reading after third blow violation the 3rd one i start** thecar got scrap** my windows back in buzzer is off so blow violation i wii get my money back you rippoffs

      This product is absolutely terrible. Im forced to get it for a year just to drive. Fine. The product doesnt work (keep getting violocks saying mouth closer). Awesome. Cant get a different product and they cant fix this embarrassment. This is a clear violation of my rights and my lawyer will be hearing about it. Smart start is a joke and needs to be forced out of business. Period!

      These people are crooks taking advantage of vulnerable people who had a little bad luck by draining money out of them for ridiculous reasons. Takes me many trys and over 10 minutes to get my car to start in the cold weather. **************** is completely useless. I asked for a call back and they called back 13hrs later. They think they can treat us like dirt without consequence because they are the only option we have if we want to drive. This is a scam and the gouvernement is encouraging them.

      The smart start device is ruining my life. Since March 28th 22' I've had nothing but issues with the device saying " mouth closer " and each time device fails to read it adds time before another blow before eventually sounding my vehicle alarm. Work sites, busy gas stations, parking lots, late for everything.I've repeatedly called and reported then had the device switched only to have the exact same thing keep happening. It just doesn't work. Now I'm afraid to drive anywhere because I'm stuck all the time in embarrassing situations. I've completely had it as I know ( and read ) others have too. I fully accept the punishment of the device but... I refuse to accept what the non-working device is doing to my life. This is incredibly destructive and Smart Start should not be in business at all. It's just a Govt money grab and everyone knows that.

      Total ******** company..take your cash any chance they get when you talk to them they treat you like s*** ...u shouldn't have gotten a impaired they say....get caught dealing ******** that kills people and u are out in under a year...get an impaired and they nail your a** was sentenced to 5 years of interlock...insurance went to **** a year....dont understand the blow box prohibits drinking and driving but insurance through the roof it's a cash cow all the way around....guardian was better

      Whoever runs the ********* location is just looking for a money grab. And Im 90% positive the new owners of this location or just using it to launder money. They are very ignorant make customers wait far beyond any of their appointment times. And of course they have everybody by the ***** because SGI only deals with them. Complaints submitted to multiple organizations.

      Very bad to deal with they dont tell you the truth. Put in a new battery and on july 29th and today it gets stuck on pass and they blame the battery. They say I missed s blow and I did not both times and they charged me about 350 in july for there problem and now again.bad business as I have never failed a test and then have to deal with issues .
