      Unclogged drain from Laundry Tub: Laundry Tub wasn't draining properly. Tried the usual DIY tricks to no avail. Called Milani (been using them for years), to book service. Agent was cordial, collected the needed information and booked me for a service for the following day. Later on the same day the I called, a Milani agent called me back and said that a service tech had come available and they could come our place that afternoon and that I would be contacted 1/2 hour before they arrived. The service tech arrived, had the right equipment for the job and set to work. The tech snaked the drain via the pipe directly connected to the plumbing stack, then put the pipes from the laundry tub back together and tested. The tech wasn't satisfied with the drain of the water so he re-snaked the pipe farther along. The subsequent test was good. The tech made sure everything was tight and cleaned up. It was all done in about 40 minutes.

      My experience was terrible. I booked a service call 2 weeks ago. Told to be home between 12 - 3 today. Woke up at 8am, called to be sure a tech was still coming in the afternoon. Stayed home all day. I called again at 2 and was told tech was sent to another job and since it was big (!) likely wouldn't be coming. Waited till 5pm and called again. Told he definitely wouldn't be coming and I should rebook for the following week b/c he was off the rest of the week. Unbelievable!! Wasted the whole day. Why would they send the guy to another job, knowing I was booked for b/t 12 - 3? Is my time worth nothing? Is the booking worth nothing? Total lack of care for customers. Will never, ever use Milani again. There must be better out there. And I only rate 1 star b/c it won't accept no stars.

      Really bad business practice. First call out was for replacement kitchen faucet and bathroom faucet drip. Kitchen faucet was installed incorrectly and was told we needed to wait for a part for the bathtub faucet. Months later and a number of calls to Milani a new plumber came out. He was good. Fixed the kitchen faucet and bathroom - apparently the part as available ** **** ***** not sure why it took months. Apparently first plumber not working there anymore. Because this was resolved I called them for the flush system in our ****** toilet. Gave them the model number of the toilet and said we needed them to bring the part. Plumber arrived with no part and proceeded to tell us we needed a new toilet $300 plus installation of at least $200.+
      Charged us over two hundred dollars to tell us that! I called ****** - they gave me the part number and video on how to replace, I ordered the part ** ****** for $15. It works. Called Milani and they would not resolve this. My point is they should say the plumber will not bring the part - and they should get some better staff - hit and miss. Will not call again, and would advise others to be careful.

      This was finally resolved and I want to thank **** who worked with me to resolve the issue. The last plumber fixed things. However, after this experience I will not use Milani again as I need to be able to trust the advice from the plumber. They seem to have many happy customers so perhaps the best advice is to double check when told you need a replacement.

      Milani sent a young tradesman to tighten a loose shower control valve. He also cleaned sediment from the shower head. Unfortunately he reversed the cold and hot water positions at the valve and destroyed operation of the shower head. We contacted Cassandra at the office and asked that Peter, a supervisor, take a look at the problems,. Peter concurred that errors had been made. A few days later, Peter returned and resolved the issues to our complete satisfaction.
      Over the years we have used Milani for several small plumbing maintenance problems and we have always been satisfied with their service. We ask for Peter in particular although he is not always available. He is now in a more senior position but he remains the best in the business.
