I closed and signed a car lease agreement with MFI. After 3 years of very hard work, I am now considering buying out my car. Here are the shocking numbers. Start of contract: Car value $ 12,000, I paid approx $15,300 to MFI during almost 3 years. 34 payment they say of $450mo. The payout value to MFI is now $ 10,000 (termination penalty of $ 549 may or may not be included). That means from $ 15,300 I paid only $3,300 went towards the value of my car. Approx $12,000 went into interest, profits, fees and taxes. I feel to be taken advantage of. They will not provide statements, this is not a true lease. The are taking advantage of people ** ***** ******** ******* ** ****** **** **** ** ** ******* **** ** **** ***** *** ** ***** **** ********* ***********
