  STAY AWAY. Worst company for junk removal. Will give you a low quote then up-charge you and threaten to charge more of you ask them to unload your junk. Basically grown men bulling people to pay them money.

  I reviewed this business two days ago. It was not a good review. It showed up yesterday but now has disappeared ! I want to see what happens this time.Stay away from Junk Brigade because they are ************ and ******** and will fully get away with charging you as they please . I was charged double what I was expecting. The manager hung up when called.

  I really enjoyed my service that The Junk Brigade provided Before starting to explain the pricing structure and how everything works.They made it very clear, cut, and how they accept payment. They filled it out very nice and neat and make sure you come to agreement. How much space was taken up there are fees such as mattresses, which is understandable.I have used junk removal services before, but the one thing I really like about this company was how honest and upfront they were definitely will be using there services again

  Ripped off my daughter by charging a 100% surcharge they had no business charging as verified by two other reputable companies including ************** who claimed we were ripped right off! Management did not care and he was extremely rude. They were 3 big men speaking to a 100lb young lady who clearly had never dealt with this kind of thing *** **** **** ** *** ****** ***

  They were great on the phone indicated that they charge by the volume % of their truck, not the weight. They would charge a surcharge if we have drywalls, tiles or concrete. We are a small business with office furniture and junk supplies to remove so I was assured surchrage was not going to be an issue.
  But the day the team arrived, They said the parking situation in downtown is horrendous, the furniture look heavy, so there will be a 100% surcharge. Yes, I'm not joking, 100% surchrage My boss was on his own that day and I understand we were days from the end of the office lease. I could understand his urgency and it all happen so fast, he reluctantly Ok'd it. $500 for a 10 cubic yard truck, at most, it was going to be a $1000, I thought. NOPE! The team started taking the desks apart and loading them the truck. When done, they said it was 30 cubic yard of volume which came to $1500 plus the 100% surcharge so it costed $3000. Despite how upset he was, he paid the bill.
  To say we have 30 cubic yards of junk? I don't know if they loaded the junk with care or even attempted to save space while loading. I wasn't there to witness the loading so I can't verify.
  Here's what we removed:
  one corner office desk.
  one L shape office desk,
  one wood two legged desk,
  one two-tier metal cabinet.
  6 carpet chair mats
  and junk binders, duotangs, organizers, staplers - just a pile on top of the two-legged desk.
  The last time we removed the same amount of furniture we paid under $1,000. so $3K doesn't make sense to me.
  I called the manager after the holiday and questioned why heavy furniture was subjected to extra surchrage, he said it needed to be taken down with care because of their heavy. So not charge by weight is play-on-word. They didn't mention that parking challenges would be subject to surchrage either but they factored that in. I am not pleased with that response. The moral of the story is buyers beware.
