I requested my medical records and received a confirmation email which is attached to this complaint. I received the records on a USB stick. I was charged approx $170.00 which was way more than the amount told to me by the customer service rep. I now have a Health Care provider and was asked for my medical records. i took the stick to them and there was only 8 pages on the stick. My Health Care provider contacted MedRecords to say that the records were not complete and Med Records had not responded. I called MedRecords today and the said they only received 8 pages from my former Doctor. I contacted my former Doctor and the have all my records and did not receive a request from MedRecords. I will now need to have my new Health Care provider request the records from my former Doctor and will be charged to have them transfered. When I talked to the Manager at MedRecords to say that I expect a refund in full and he refused saying that they only received 8 records. I told the manager that I would be reporting this incident to the better business bureau. **** ******** ****** *** ** ******* ** ********

I had paid $200.00 one year ago to have my medical records transfer to my medical clinic last spring. I contacted that clinic months later, and they had said they gotten no record from anyone. I then contacted Med Records, and they had explained that they tried to contact the clinic, but had computer issues and that was it. They never contacted me or did anything else. So asked them to do it again, and say they would try again. Late last year I contacted that clinic again, and again they had not received any information from Med Records. I contacted the company and a third time they would try, and again nothing happened. So the last contact I had with Med Records, that they were going to send my records to my new Doctor and clinic at a different location. I contacted that location yesterday, and they said they did not received any information from Med Records. I am tired of this, and now requesting a full refund as the service I paid for will not be completed.
