On July 13th, 2024, I hired North Pacific Van Lines to move my belongings from **************************************************************************************************************************** AB.After many phone calls, emails and anxiety filled evenings, I finally received my belongings on August 15, 2024. It was when the third-party moving company employed offloaded my belongings that I was able to get a look at my items. I cant believe the damage that ensued or on how they had packed my stuff in their truck. After getting pictures of my now destroyed, mostly new furniture, I am compelled to file a claim. My claim is as follows: (pictures and invoices included):1.Bar table - $150.00 (came with two chairs and not claiming this)2.Occasional table set 11 months old - $500 3.Dresser - 11 months old - $400 4.Nightstand x 2 11 months old - $300 5.Two counter side chairs brown 11 months old - $300 None of my belongings were damaged prior to be shipped and all items being claimed were less than two years old. Please note: the third-party movers that were hired by North Pacific Van Lines moved the items in question into the storage unit too quickly for me to unpack and inspect any items that were in boxes but based on the pictures submitted with this claim, my items were NOT packed with care. Total value being claimed: $1650.00.North Pacific Van Lines has until the end of day August 23, 2024, to pay the claim in full or the following action will apply:1.BBB will be notified, and a claim levied against North Pacific Van Lines 2.Small claims court will be filed in accordance with BC laws and rights.

The attachments I sent was an invoice from ********. This invoice from ******** showed proof of how much I paid for my goods that were destroyed.

My complaint I am registering is with North Pacific Van Lines. They were the moving company that destroyed my stuff upon delivery.

My issue isn't with Hometown, as explained earlier. That invoice attached from hometown is the BACK UP to my claim with NORTH PACIFIC VAN LINES.

I will attach the invoice from north pacific van lines as the back up I attached seems to confuse the issue
