      * **** ************* *** ******** ************ On May 30th I accidentally paid my old landlord they were clearly implementing their super broken captcha system as the usual option to delete was not there. **** ****** *** ******** ********** *** *** ********** ** **** ************* ********** ** *** *** ** ******** ** **** ** ******* * *** ******** *** *** * *** *** ******* ** *** ***** *** My support worker had to phone. He says he is calling on my behalf as I cannot use the phone they say I should be put on the phone. This is not even secure as anyone who can speak can pretend to be anyone . When they decided to let him one time help I was shocked they required his emali but nothing that proved he was with me who was logged in. Still by the time they finished a half an hour on hold to delete a payment I had been able to do so,. He went to do my grocery shopping and my debit did not work, When we realized we needed to go to the branch we thought it would be fast. It was my account and there I was I was told it was due to concern the payment might be to someone I don't know. As I've been paying my landlord who I don't know socially but who is a fan of rent this was odd. A higher up said it was privacy concern. Although he kept talking to ** ******* ****** who just like on the phone he asked if he had ***** of ********** * ***** ** ******* *** ********** *** ******** ****** *** ******** ***** ************ ** **********  He declared it more heated nd thus requiring a manager which we should come back for. I don't have support but that this is painful and hard does not enter into it. It's how they kept insurance payments years ago for a policy that should not have auto renewed. On the Monday ** ******* ****** had no problem finding out the restrictions had been removed without me. Only they hadn't as they removed my password, verified email, and phone so I can't pay my bills. For a group that claims to champion the ******** ...

      They were very helpful, ***** helped me with every question i had. Im opening up a couple accounts. He was polite and had a answer for every question.

      Concur with reviews on the disappointing level of service at this financial institution. I was very happy with them since establishing my account in the early 80s. However, my satisfaction has been declining year to year over the past decade. Waiting time: After experiencing consistently slow service at my branch, decided to try the main *************** branch. Disappointingly, it is no different. Two people ahead of you; expect wait time of 30 minutes. Strongly considering leaving. Unclear what decisions over the past ***** years have caused such a downfall in what was once a very customer-oriented institution.

      I remember the outage from April ****th, 2022 with no branches open, online banking, phone banking, nothing. Online banking is constantly down for maintenance. The customer service over the phone is severely lacking, associates are not empowered to do their job - issues must be escalated with callbacks. Conversations are constantly repeated as if reading from a script.Cybersecurity is a serious issue with Coast Capital. Not until about two years ago passwords were 7 digits only and the username was the actual bank card number. One of the last financial institutions to use multi-factor authentication.Phantom system locking of business accounts with no notice other than "Oops something went wrong. Try again later." when logging in. Business account associates are not available unless it's Mon-Fri. Stay away and go with another credit union or bank.

      They are telling me they are charging me a fee for not using the account. After calling them to tell them I want to close the account, they are saying they cannot do it unless I come in person. This is extremely inconvenient as they are making it as hard as possible to close the account to ensure that I get charged the fees for holding an account they won't let me close over the phone.

      Today is March 27.Im still trying to negotiate the renewal of my mortgage which is due March 29. Every time I call and talk to a mortgage specialist I get an inconsistent answer to the same question I ask each person Ive spoken to. They dont seem in agreement to the rules and policies of the bank. They are also hard to get a hold of. I spoke to ********************** and **************** went to a real estate lawyer to review documents and the conversations Ive had with Coast Capital mortgage specialists, once i mentioned the lawyer to the mortgage specialist stories changed again.Im so disappointed in the service and perceived dishonesty. Recently, an E-sign document sent by ******* failed to come through on my end. I have not had any problems reviewing e-sign docs from other professionals. not sure what to think. March 29 is approaching and I hope they can get it together in time.I sent an email to ************************* to confirm all the details of our conversation and the new mortgage, Im yet to receive a copy. *** asked her to send copies to the Coast Capital Metrotown location so I can pick up a hard copy. Havent heard back yet. Unbelievable service!

      Unfortunately my late mother had a **** at Coast Capital that as the executor I'm having to deal with. Coast is refusing to payout any of the **** beneficiaries until ALL beneficiaries sign in PERSON. Really?? One of the beneficiaries lives out side the country. No option for notarized signature for this person. This means Coast Capital could hang on to the funds forever if 1 beneficiary cannot be found or lives abroad. This is contrary to industry norms, all other financial institutions and is very likely illegal.If you have a RIF, **** etc get it out of Coast Capital ASAP and save your beneficiaries the brain damage from having to deal with them.Unprofessional and incompetent at best.

      Stuck from last 3-4 years. * **** **** * ********* branch employee are still not able to figure out the problem. Stopped going there opened another bank account at **** same issues after few month changed electronic devices. Still
      ?? Confused. Any suggestion and employee working speed is worse than a tortoise. Sorry ?? . ******* *** **** **** *** ****** ******* ******
